Is ACY Securities a broker worth your investment, or is it just one in a never ending row of average companies that keep appearing from out of nowhere? Read on to find out.

ACY Securities Pty Ltd is regulated by ASIC, or the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. This regulatory body acts directly in favor of the traders of Australia, helping them bypass any irregularities and malpractices. Nonetheless, ASIC doesn’t not include a client reimbursement policy.

According to a chart we found on the website the cost of trade of the EUR/USD pair is 0.1-0.2 pips, which is extremely low and does does in no way help the broker in making profit. In the Account Section of the website we found out that the minimum spread amount for STP ECN accounts is 1 pips for EUR/USD, and 0 pips for both ZeroECN and PureECN accounts. As we shall see there are commissions attached to the latter account types.

The leverage at ACY Securities is capped at 1:500, which is quite high and has both lucrative and disastrous potentials.

When registering a demo account we were asked to choose from a broad range of languages- English, Mandarin, Indonesian, Spanish, Hindu, Arabic, Portuguese, Bengali, Russia, Japanese, Punjabi, Malay, Javanese, Cantonese, Korean, and German.

The broker has included the two most popular trading platforms: the MT4 and MT5.

As a leading trading platform, MT4 has become a household name. ACY Securities has adapted MT4 as its primary platform by offering some great features: micro lots, automated trading bots, 500 individual orders per account, VPS’s (Virtual Private Servers), customizable trading indicators, and much more.

The Metatrader 5 trading platform has certain advantages over its older brother (MT4) that, although cannot change the contents of your wallet as much as you would like, can still make a difference. MT5 features more technical indicators, a larger number of graphical objects and increased time frames. As always MetaTrader 5 does not fall short on the important inclusion of Expert Advisors.

The leverage here is maximized at 1:500.

As mentioned the spread depends on the account type. Nevertheless, the minimum EUR/USD spread for STP ECN accounts is 1 pip for EUR/USD, and 0 pips for both ZeroECN and PureECN accounts.

Both ZeroECN and PureECN accounts have commission to them. All commission are round turn. ZeroECN has a commission of $6 which increases the spread by 0.6 pips, while PureECN accounts have a commission of $5 which directly increases spreads by 0.5 pips.

The MT4/5 is available as a desktop trader, on Android/iOS devices, and as a web-browser trader (no EA’s though)

ACYSECURITIES MINIMUM DEPOSIT

The minimum deposit is $100 for the stpECN account. ZeroECN have a minimum requirement of $2000, while PureECN account holder are required to deposit a minimum of $20 000 in order to use this account.

The funding methods are said to be Wire Transfer, Credit/Debit Card, Skrill, Doku Wallet, and China Union Pay.

Bank withdrawals take up to 3 days, while Credit/Debit card are surprisingly longer with a waiting period of up to 5 days. Alternative payment methods are know to fund an account almost instantaneous.

Account base currencies are USD, AUD, EUR, GBP, NZD, JPY, and CAD.

There are no deposit fee issued by the broker. Individual payment systems will probably launch some charges.

ACYSECURITIES WITHDRAWAL TIME AND FEES

Users cannot withdraw from a credit card. It seems that the only withdrawal way is via Wire Transfer and Skrill.

All withdrawals are processed between 1-2 days, according to the FAQ. Requests submitted before 14:00 AEST will be processed the same day.

International Wire Transfers are charged with $25; Skrill charges a 3% merchant fee; local Bank Withdrawals within Australia are free for up to 3 withdrawal a month, if more occur then a $25 fee will be withheld.

There is no indication on a minimum withdrawal amount. We assume that once a user registered he or she will see the minimum.

BOTTOM LINE

AcySecurities is a solid broker, one that does things right and has a respectable regulation. We recommend it.
