Spinago Casino review: 5 things to know before depositing

Spinago is unfortunately quite the generic online casino. We don’t think that it has anything to offer that other houses don’t do better. For instance, its games library is decent in size, but very poorly organized. The games you can access are a hassle to browse, if you are not looking for anything in particular. As superficial as this complaint is, the company is also lackluster in many other areas. It has alright bonuses, but nothing exciting. It is not licensed at all.

The only genuinely positive aspect of the casino is its deposits policy. And even so, there are certain parts of it which could be executed better. So can we recommend this casino? The answer to that question would require an in-depth look into Spinago. So here is everything you need to know about it:

Here is a list of all of the promotions that are offered by the casino:

Frist Deposit Bonus$20$150 and 200 Free Spins40xNone
Second Deposit Bonus$20$20040xNone
Third Deposit Bonus$20$30040xNone

Friday Free Spins$20100 Free Spins40xNone
VIP BonusesN/A20% Weekly Cashback + 350 Free Spins40x for Free Spins/5x for Cashback$200 for Free Spins

Let’s start with its Welcome Package. It consists of three different promotions, which are available on the three initial deposits you make with Spinago. That seems relatively straightforward, and yet, there is a lot of different things to note:

The First Deposit Bonus is calculated by doubling your deposited funds, up to $150, with a requirement of at least $20, or its equivalent deposited. There is also a large package of Free Spins – 200 of them, which will be credited to your account in batches of 50. This means the Spins will be available for four days after the deposit you have made. You have seven days to make use of them after that point – or else, they will expire. The requirement to cash out the winnings and bonuses you made is to wager the promotional funds at least 40x. This kind of condition is common with most casinos these days. They set it lower, with 30x-40x being the usual range in which such requirements can be found.

The Second Deposit Bonus grants you a higher maximum amount of funds – $200. However, there are no Free Spins. Also, it is calculated differently – the promotion counts your deposited money and divides it into two, crediting you with 50% of the funds. This means that getting the full bonus requires a deposit of $400 to be made. There is the same wagering requirement you need to comply with here. The last bonus in the package is called the Third Deposit Bonus. This promotion is virtually identical to the previous bonus. The only significant difference is the fact it has a higher maximum you can get, $300. Other than that, the way it is calculated and the wagering requirements are the same.

The package we described is only available once per account. However, there are several other bonuses, which can be claimed multiple times, offered by the casino. Here is what they are:

The Tuesday Reload Bonus will grant players who deposit $20 or more a cash reward of $150. Note that the bonus funds are calculated as 40% of what you have deposited. Also, as the name implies, it is only available once a week. The same wagering requirement is in force here as well.

Fans of Slots will be happy to use the Friday Free Spins Bonus, which gives them a substantial amount of Spins. The minimum deposit is once again $20, which would net you 20 Free Spins. The maximum you can get this way is 100 Spins, which requires a deposit of $100. The Spins are once again credited in batches of 50 to your account. Also, you should note the same 7 day expiry rate applies to them.

None of the deposit bonuses discussed above have any kind of restriction on how much you can profit with them, as Spinago does not envision cash-out limits for them.

The most interesting bonus program that Spinago runs seems to be the VIP Bonuses system. Every deposit you make with the casino contributes to your Account Tier. There are eight tiers, with each requiring more and more in deposits. The casino has special rewards for each of these tiers, with better rewards being available to latter ones. Once you level up your account to the next tier, you will get two special benefits.

The first is a certain amount of Free Spins. These are between 25 and 350, based on the particular level  your account is on. The wagering requirement for them is the same as the rest of the promotions. Additionally, there is a cash-out limit for them – $200, for the total batch, applied after the turnover requirement is met.

The second component of the VIP reward is the Weekly Cashback you can get. Note that this is available for accounts who have deposited $3000 or more, and acquired the second tier. Cashbacks are common with most casinos and restore a certain percent of your losing wagers to you. The particular percent here is between 5% and 20%, and scales with the account level. There is no maximum you can cash out this way. But once the money is granted to your account, a new wagering requirement of 5x is also applied to it.

The Cashback component of the bonus is not particularly compelling. Most casinos have way lower requirements to start handing out cashbacks than depositing such a massive amount of money. Not to mention the initial 5% you can get is rather low!

The regulation of an online casino is what makes a house a safe place to bet. Here is what Spinago has to say about its license:

Supposedly, it is issued by Antillephone, one of the four bodies which oversee the Curacao e-gambling sphere. But that is actually not what the register of the regulator shows:

Curacao bodies draw some criticism for not being as strict as other license providers. This is not particularly fair, because they take a strict approach to regulation as well. A license with the Antillephone, for instance, would mean the player can know the slots they are playing are RTP certified. That means the random number generators that are used within are independently audited, which then ensures that there is no bias in them. There are also rules about how the casino should handled any possible disputes with the player, how it should encrypt your data and so on. Not to mention that the tendency of offshore houses to engage in money laundering is also not something you’d have to worry about with a licensed service provider.

Either way, Spinago cannot guarantee anything of the abovementioned protections without a license. We would not really recommend any unlicensed casino. Also, we should mention the worrisome trend there seems to be with the brands that are associated with Dama N.V. – the claimed parent company here. Recently, we have covered several of them which were licensed. This means that it is possible Spinago does not actually have any connection with Dama N.V. Here are the three most recent reviews of its brands, if you are interested:

Deposit and Withdrawal

The deposit policies of this casino are, in our opinion, its strongest aspect. That is because these are varied and fair, with no fees and no high requirements. Here is what methods of payments it accepts:

Firstly, you can pay via credit cards. There are Visa and MasterCard payments available, as well as AstroPay Card ones. Next, you can use an e-voucher via PaySafe Card. There are many e-wallets you can deposit with: Neteller, Skrill, AstroPay. You can make wire payments via Rapid Transfers as well as pay with an abundance of crypto tokens.

The minimum you need to deposit is $20 for FIAT payment options, and quite varied for crypto deposits. Due to the volatile nature of these assets, we cannot really provide you with anything more specific than listing the minimum that the casino demands, as we have done above. However, these are generally lower than $20. A singe Dogecoin needs to be deposited, and at the time of writing, this amounts to a couple of cents.

The processing times for deposits and withdrawals are quite good. The former are reflected to your account within a single day of the request being made. Note that they are actually faster to process in general. Withdrawals are said to take up to three business days to get processed. That is a good enough policy, somewhere between the casinos that take up to a week, and the ones which are able to clear such transactions within mere hours.

There are no deposit or withdrawal fees that are charged by Spinago. But you should note that fees can be charged by the payment provides themselves. The only way the house will hit you with a fee is if you don’t clear a wagering requirement of 3x your deposits. This is a common enough policy with most casinos these days, but we wish the fee’s size was listed too. It should not be higher than 10-15%, though.

Games and Game Suppliers

The collection of games you can play with Spinago is brought to you by suppliers like Pragmatic Play, Habanero, BGaming, Netent, Evolution, Play n Go, Nolimit City, Ezgui, Wazdan, QuickSpin, KA Gaming, PG Soft, Playson, Yggdrasil and more. In total, the casino partners with around 50 game providers, which is a decent amount. It is difficult to say how many games it has, though. That is because of the way they are organized being pretty bad, and inefficient. There are two broad categories available. These are the following:

There are Slots. Some of the names here will include Lady Wolf Moon, Elvis Frog True Ways, Johnny Cash, Kitsune Moon, Dominator’s treasure. The Slots are divided in subcategories, like ones that let you use the Free Spins Spinago hands out, and ones that let you play with crypto tokens. Either way, the collection is decent in size.

Secondly, there are many Live Games: Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack, Roulettes; No offline versions of these table game classics are available. This is certainly a missed opportunity, and makes the house less appealing for players who are after this kind of gaming experience. There are several Game Shows that you can take place in too: Crazy Time, Crazy Coin Flip and so on. But since they are lumped in with the more numerous Blackjack and Poker tables, it is a hassle to discover them. In fact, if you don’t know what you are looking for, you can easily miss the live games altogether!

There are several excellent aspects of this casino, which have to do with its deposits policy. However, the rest of what it has to offer is incredibly lackluster. And since the house is not licensed, we cannot recommend it, because playing there comes with a level of risk we cannot understate. So, in conclusion, you can find a better service elsewhere!
