Proligon.com biggest strength is also the one element that is typical of brokers like it- its website design. On the one hand you have a site which seems attractive and well put, but on the other you consider that most similar websites have something to hide. With Proligon.com it doesn't only seem that way, but it actually is. There is more to this broker, and what we discovered isn't good at all! Read on to find out.
The official contact address is in Romania, and as part of the EU it has to abide by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), including providng a max leverage cap of 1:30. Check what it provides further down the review and come to your own conclusion.
We checked with the local regulator, the ASF (Autoritatea de Supraveghere Financiara)and found no result for one Proligon.com. Which means that the broker could not be registered in Romania if it is not licensed there.
Proligon.com is a scam and an unlicensed entity. Stay away from this one.
Investing in unregulated brokers is the digital equivalent of throwing your money away for the wind to disperse it. It’s obvious that no one would do such a thing. Go with brokers that are regulated by trustworthy organizations like the FCA or CySEC. These entities work closely with the law, enforce it when called for, and have strict requirements for those under their gaze. Not to mention that those under their jurisdiction are members of compensation funds that cover victimized clients’ losses of up to £85 000 (FCA) and €20 000 (CySEC).
The one thing we can say about the registration form was that it is on of the most common ones used by scammers. You have no idea how many illicit brokers we have reviewed that have used this exact same templated registration form.
And ye, we had no way to register, for perhaps one of the most ridiculous and absurd reasons. We could not zoom out of the form and as a result could not finalize the account creation process, and therefore can not finalize our registration. For a broker to let something like this slip is a disgrace.
And so the website, the one place we did did not want to get our details form, is the only place to do so. We learn that the maximum leverage carried here is 1:400, and 1:200 for the standard account.
The available assets to be traded are forex currency pairs, stocks, commodities, indices, and cryptocurrencies. For some reason or another, the broker has not disclosed any spread values, although there is proof that it takes a commission out of trades. However, we are never given the exact value of these commissions.
PROLIGON.COM LOGIN
In a very common move, typical of illicit brokers, Proligon.com speakds of a trading platforms, but when it comes down to delivering one, it bales out.
The reality is that there is no direct no access to a trading platform, and the only thing Proligon.com does it only talking of it.
PROLIGON.COM MINIMUM DEPOSIT
According to the website clients have the ability to invest by means of credit cards, bank transfer, debit cards, and so-called “internet transfers”, which we believe are alternative e-wallets.
The minimum deposit requirement is $250. Or se we thought, until the official account comparison page claim the minimum investment to be $10 000. So which is it? It seems either one.
The only way to get a minimum deposit is by opening an account, and we do not recommend doing that.
DON’T PROVIDE YOUR CREDIT CARD CVV CODE
The CVV code is the one thing that separates a buyer from a product. Without it, one cannot complete a purchase, even if him/her has given all other necessary information. By giving this detail to someone else, you are essentially inviting them to use your funds for their own means. And be warned that unregulated brokers most certainly plan to do so.
DON’T PROVIDE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER AND BANK ACCOUNT VIA ANYDESK OR TEAMVIEWER
Be sure to never give AnyDesk or TeamViewer access to your PC to unverified agents. These 2 platforms allow for your PC to be taken over by a second party, oftentimes for help or guidance, but in the case of these brokers for the sole purpose of looting your bank account(s) and personal information. However, in order to do so your consent is needed, and this is the only thing standing in the scammers’ way.
PROLIGON.COM WITHDRAW TIME AND FEES
As a final scammer touch, the broker has not included any withdrawal details. Just think about this. How will a user know whether or not he or she is able to withdrawal? These types of questions are asked by advanced traders, and that is why most scammer broker tend to target novice and rookie investors, even non-traders at times!
As you have seen, there is no reason to invest in Proligon.com. It is a risk and a scam.
ACCOUNT VERIFICATION
Beware, once more, when giving away an ID and a proof of address. Trustworthy brokers ask for these before traders can deposit to make a check up. Deceitful ones will ask for these details, using the anti-money laundering legislation as pretext, once you start asking too many questions and are getting suspicious of their activities. Understand that they will use these to build a stronger case against you in the event that you request a chargeback.
Yet again we urge readers to stay away from this broker as it will, without a doubt, never return your funds and profits. If you wish to to get smooth and efficient transactions, please visit a FCA/CySEC regulated broker, where all withdrawals are handled with care and respect.
HOW TO RECOVER
The most sound advice we could give you is to immediately file for a chargeback with you credit card company.
If you have given away your credit card details including the CVV code to the “broker” you should cancel it ASAP and check with your bank to see the damage inflicted.
Also, beware of self proclaimed “recovery” agencies or agents. These cheeky scammers promise to fix your problem and restore the lost funds. They offer their services in exchange of a small sum from your end, after which you won’t ever hear from them again.
The last line of defense for these indecent folk is more like a desperate cry: often times they will comment on reviews and cite the whole ordeal as a conspiracy initiated by competitive brokers against them; at times even claiming that reviewers are anything but objective, and that no one writes good reviews. The absurdities are limitless!
BOTTOM LINE
Don't be fooled by Proligon.com. It's another simple investment fraud pretending to be something it isn't.
