With a modern name like “Idenitive Investments”, can this one separate itself from the endless throng of financial services firms, or is it just another one in an endless line? Read on to find out.

The company claims to be waiting for a regulation from the FCA.

We checked, just to make sure, with the FCA and found zero results, which leaves us to conclude that the company is UNREGULATED and thus a risk to those invested with it.

The website invest.idenitive.org is half functioning. There are entire sections of it that are missing, or rather lead to the notorious 404 Error Page. Other sections are only available in Spanish, most notably the Terms and Conditions. So any snips from the T/Cs will probably be badly written, as they are translated by Google. Moreover, the more we spent time with Idenitive Investments the more our experience became faultier. The personal dashboard mixes English with Spanish. The entire website is a complete mess, but we will try to do our best and bring forth all the bits and pieces we usually write about.

There is no spread or leverage of any kind, because the company offers only crypto investing.

There are no real assets to trade with. The only option that traders really have is to invest in crypto currencies.

The languages as mentioned are English and Spanish.

IDENITIVE INVESTMENTS LOGIN

As we have already established, Idenitive Investments is a company that allows users to invest in crypto currencies. There is no platform needed for such an action, meaning that there is no spread nor a leverage for that matter. However, the dashboard should have at least some sort of live chart to indicate the current prices of crypto.

IDENITIVE INVESTMENTS MINIMUM DEPOSIT

This is probably one of the messiest websites we’ve ever entered, and as such retaining any proper information is an endeavor that sounds easy but is extremely annoying in execution.

With that said, the minimum deposit 0.01 bitcoin, or around which is approximately $107 as of writing this review.

Depositing into an account is achievable via bitcoin, Cash Deposit (as it is written on the dashboard, they probably meant card deposit), Bank Transfer, Ethereum, and IdenitiveToken which we assume is a sort of crypto currency.

Due to the website’s lack of any regulation, we advise against depositing any amount whatsoever. Only invest in online financial service providers that have a FCA/CySEC regulation. These agencies are at the top of their game, demanding a strict conduct from those under their gaze, and requiring regular reports on their activities.

DON’T PROVIDE YOUR CREDIT CARD CVV CODE

The CVV code is the one thing that separates a buyer from a product. Without it, one cannot complete a purchase, even if him/her has given all other necessary information. By giving this detail to someone else, you are essentially inviting them to use your funds for their own means. And be warned that unregulated brokers most certainly plan to do so.

DON’T PROVIDE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER AND BANK ACCOUNT VIA ANYDESK OR TEAMVIEWER

A novice mistake that has been numerously repeated and taken advantage of is providing access to your computer and bank account via AnyDesk or TeamViewer. These two softwares allow for others (in our case the people behind the shady brokerage) to log-in to your PC and flip through all files and browsers, essentially taking over your computer as another user and having access to your personal information like bank account passwords, credit card information etc. Thankfully, these platforms are completely legal and will need your own personal approval in order to be used.

IDENITIVE INVESTMENTS WITHDRAWAL TIME AND FEES

We could not get our hands on a minimum withdrawal amount. It is probable that one must invest first in order to get the minimum withdrawal value.

There are no withdraw time either.

However, there are certain fees that are of interest. In the Idenitive Investments official statement from 15/04/2019, there is a small paragraph that says that if a withdrawal occurs in the first 18 month since the initial deposit, the client may be eligible to pay charges.

These charges are depended on how long it took a client to request a withdrawal. For instance, if after 12 month since the initial deposit a user withdrawals, Idenitive Investments will charge them up to 40% of the amount.

What’s more is that the company charges the typical withdrawal fees for Wire Transfer. We found these on the personal dashboard, in the Withdraw section. Wire Transfers are taxed with 1%.

ADDITIONAL FEES AND TAXES

The broker casually drops a mention of a registration fee and another confusing fee tied to it, in the Payment clause.

The undisclosed dormant fee is activated after 18 month of inactivity.

The presence of such charges point out the true scammer nature of this broker. With so many commissions and charges, it’s in Idenitive Investments’ own interest to keep you invested for as long as possible. For this reason they will deny your withdrawal request, for certain.

ACCOUNT VERIFICATION

Traders will sooner or later realize that something is a foot. Filing for a chargeback might not be as easy as it seems if, beforehand, the user has given away a copy of his ID and proof of address to the unlicensed broker. With these in their possession the company can easily refute any claims you might have against them.

We are positive that this firm will not return your funds; the evidence we have laid out before you work in sync against it. The sound thing to do is to direct your attention and investment to an FCA or CySEC licensed entity where the law is integrated in every aspect of their operations.

HOW TO RECOVER

The only way to recover is by filling for a charge back, and hoping it’s not too late.

If you have given a CVV code, be sure to cancel your credit card as soon as possible, because the people behind the scam will not delay, and draining every cent from it.

Also, beware of self proclaimed “recovery” agencies or agents. These cheeky scammers promise to fix your problem and restore the lost funds. They offer their services in exchange of a small sum from your end, after which you won't ever hear from them again.

The last line of defense for these indecent folk is more like a desperate cry: often times they will comment on reviews and cite the whole ordeal as a conspiracy initiated by competitive brokers against them; at times even claiming that reviewers are anything but objective, and that no one writes good reviews. The absurdities are limitless!

BOTTOM LINE

Idenitive Investments is a shady as scammers get. The website is nearly broker, the information is confusing, and the dashboard is a mess. Stay away!
