It doesn't take an FX wizard to notice that there is something deeply wrong with the entire HK-ATF.com, also known as HK JuHui Wealth, experience. From the get go, we knew that we would not be reviewing a regulated broker, judging by the lack of professionalism expressed on the site. The more time we spent with the firm, the more we ran into problems or contradictions, and by the end of the review we were glad to put this one behind us.
HK-ATF.com's biggest turning point is when it claims to be regulated by ASIC, the Aussie regulator, and one of the world's most respected authorities on FX and CFDs licensing. ASIC has an online databank where all its regulated entities can be revealed, and naturally, we went there in search of HK-ATF.com. The end result was not unexpected: we found no proof of the broker being legitimized by ASIC.
Moreover, the broker never gives away an official address meaning that there is no reason to believe it's regulated in the land down under. The broker is essentially completely anonymous and therefore very dangerous as a result of this.
And let us not forgo the Chinese sounding name. At first we though that we would be dealing with a Hong Kong-based broker. But then, there was no connection established. It all turned out to be arbitrary.
Last but not least, we found an official warning by the Spanish Comision Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) essentially flagging the broker as a risk and as an unregulated entity.
Investing in unregulated brokers is the digital equivalent of throwing your money away for the wind to disperse it. It’s obvious that no one would do such a thing. Go with brokers that are regulated by trustworthy organizations like the FCA or CySEC. These entities work closely with the law, enforce it when called for, and have strict requirements for those under their gaze. Not to mention that those under their jurisdiction are members of compensation funds that cover victimized clients’ losses of up to £85 000 (FCA) and €20 000 (CySEC).
There was no accessing the user area because the registration form was non-existent; it produced an error page. And thus, we have no access to the user area.
Consider what we just found out in relation to the next development. There is no trading software anywhere to be used; not on the website, and neither on the elusive user area.
Without a trading software, we cannot talk about available trading conditions. Things like leverages, spreads, and tradeable assets cannot be discussed, and will not, because they do not apply here. The broker may promote trading grounds on its iste, but we have solid evidence that it lies about them all!
HK-ATF.COM LOGIN
There is a promoted MT5 on the website, but it's all a fake. The MT5 servers turned out to be the most basic demo ones offered to trial users of the MetaQuotes software. Therefore, users cannot trade with these servers: they do not represent any liquidity.
Moreover, without a registration there is no way to make sure that the broker actually offer any kind of a trading software.
The way we see it, it probably doesn't, and considering that it's a scam, it wouldn't make a difference if it did.
HK-ATF.COM MINIMUM DEPOSIT
According to the website, the minimum deposit is $100
Remember that we had no way of creating an account, and thus all payment conditions that we usually take from user areas are unavailable here. Therefore, we must focus on the website.
Although, as it turns out, the website is very poor on any depositing details. And moreover, considering that all payments are a risk with this broker, what reason does one have to invest here?
DON’T PROVIDE YOUR CREDIT CARD CVV CODE
The CVV code is the one thing that separates a buyer from a product. Without it, one cannot complete a purchase, even if him/her has given all other necessary information. By giving this detail to someone else, you are essentially inviting them to use your funds for their own means. And be warned that unregulated brokers most certainly plan to do so.
DON’T PROVIDE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER AND BANK ACCOUNT VIA ANYDESK OR TEAMVIEWER
Be sure to never give AnyDesk or TeamViewer access to your PC to unverified agents. These 2 platforms allow for your PC to be taken over by a second party, oftentimes for help or guidance, but in the case of these brokers for the sole purpose of looting your bank account(s) and personal information. However, in order to do so your consent is needed, and this is the only thing standing in the scammers’ way.
HK-ATF.COM WITHDRAW TIME AND FEES
Withdrawals are equally unsafe here, probably not available in the long run, considering the track record of most unlicensed brokers.
Moreover, there is no information on withdrawals at all; no fees, no processing times, no nothing. So, there is no reason trusting this scam with withdrawals.
ACCOUNT VERIFICATION
Beware, once more, when giving away an ID and a proof of address. Trustworthy brokers ask for these before traders can deposit to make a check up. Deceitful ones will ask for these details, using the anti-money laundering legislation as pretext, once you start asking too many questions and are getting suspicious of their activities. Understand that they will use these to build a stronger case against you in the event that you request a chargeback.
Yet again we urge readers to stay away from this broker as it will, without a doubt, never return your funds and profits. If you wish to to get smooth and efficient transactions, please visit a FCA/CySEC regulated broker, where all withdrawals are handled with care and respect.
HOW TO RECOVER
The most sound advice we could give you is to immediately file for a chargeback with you credit card company.
If you have given away your credit card details including the CVV code to the “broker” you should cancel it ASAP and check with your bank to see the damage inflicted.
Also, beware of self proclaimed “recovery” agencies or agents. These cheeky scammers promise to fix your problem and restore the lost funds. They offer their services in exchange of a small sum from your end, after which you won’t ever hear from them again.
The last line of defense for these indecent folk is more like a desperate cry: often times they will comment on reviews and cite the whole ordeal as a conspiracy initiated by competitive brokers against them; at times even claiming that reviewers are anything but objective, and that no one writes good reviews. The absurdities are limitless!
BOTTOM LINE
HK-ATF.com is perhaps the last broker that we would recommend. There is no reason to invest here, and we truly believe that all money will be lost!
