Casineia boasts that it is the best casino in Sweden. However, this lofty claim is quickly undermined by the fact the house does not really have anything special going for it. In fact, in many regards it is pretty subpar. There are not that many promotions it offers its clients, for instance. The policies regarding what deposit method you can use are rather restrictive too. And to top it off, the games that are available are pretty few, when the rest of the industry is considered.

But not everything about Casineia is irredeemable. It has a decent sportsbook, and what few promotions it runs seem to be pretty good. Also, the casino does present us with a license. So we would need to examine the casino in more detail, as that would be the only way to know for sure whether we can recommend it or not. Here is everything you need to know about Casineia:

Bonuses

The four types of bonuses that are offered with the casino are available below:

Let's start with the two Welcome Bonuses. These are available upon the first deposit you make, so you can chose only one of them. Both require an entry price of 500 SEK (about $50 at the time of writing), and both have a pretty generous maximum – 10 000 SEK and 20 000 SEK, respectively. The difference is in how the bonus is calculated. The Welcome Bonus 100% simply adds the amount of money you have deposited as bonus funds. The Welcome Bonus 50% adds only half of it, as the name suggests.

This means that claiming the full 10 000 SEK bonus would mean you need to deposit about as much. But the 20 000 SEK bonus would require a deposit of 40 000 SEK. So make sure that you are careful which of the two promotions you accept! The second one is the better option for high-rollers.

The casino boasts that there are no wagering requirements for these two promotions. You only need to wager them once to withdraw. Normally, the turnover requirements for bonuses with casinos are 30x to 40x, so this is a pretty generous way to structure your welcome promotion. There does not seem to be a cash out limit either, making this a great welcome bonus.

However, things are not so great when it comes to the recurring bonuses that are offered by Casineia. The website it runs does not contain any kind of detailed information on them, and so we are left guessing about a number of their important aspects. For instance, when are the Weekly Bonus and the Super Weekly Bonus available? The name would suggest a particular day of the week, but it could also mean the bonus is available once each week. There is no way to know when nothing about the promotion is made clear! This includes its wagering requirements. And we would severely doubt that the casino has the same low 1x turnover here as well. Instead, it is far more likely that the common 30x-40x range is where the wagering requirement lies. This critical lack of transparency is very disappointing and, to be honest, rather shady!

Either way, what we do know about these promotions is that the Weekly Bonus requires a deposit of 500 SEK or higher to activate and adds 100% of that deposit as bonus funds, all the way up to 50 000 SEK. The Super Weekly Bonus on the other hand, is calculated as 175% of the deposit, which means you need to put in less money to claim the maximum of 50 000 SEK. To compensate for that, there is a higher entry cost associated with the promotion – you need to put in 1000 SEK or more to claim it.

Lastly, there is a Cashback Program that is available to the VIP clients of Casineia. Unfortunately, the casino does not seem interested in explaining what these VIP clients are and how to become one. Nor does it actually mention how much you can get in the cashback. It is only mentioned in passing on its website. Cashbacks are a way for players to make some of the money they lost while betting back. They usually have a low percentage, between 5% and 10%. There can also be additional wagering requirements on funds you have reclaimed that way. These are quite small in general, though, with the average being around 3x.

There are no more bonuses, which is a bit disappointing. The casino offers sports betting, but no Freebet bonuses, nor any kind of interesting promotions that you can use there. And the casino bonuses which are available lack Free Spins too. So we cannot rate the promotional structure of Casineia too high.

Casineia has the following to say about its regulation:

The casino is allegedly licensed by CIL. This is one of the four master license holders in Curacao. The regulatory regime there is pretty interesting and rather unique. The four entities we mentioned have been delegated the power to regulate the egaming sector in Curacao by its government. They issue licenses to companies that follow their regulatory rules. These rules are different for each of the four bodies, but all of them seek to prevent the same risks to players. So it seems everything is in order here. These licenses can technically be forged, because the CIL is the only one of the four regulators to not upload them to a proprietary registrar. However, we don't believe this is the case here, because the casino does not have any major red flags.
