SG8 Casino

SG8 Casino is an interesting casino because it does not feel like like most the casinos we review, and that can be a good thing in some cases, but not so much in this one. For one, the casino cannot prove it being licenses, causing us to ponder way too much for things that should have been clear from the get go. So before you consider investing here we suggest reading the review first and then taking the final decision. Not to mention that SG8 Casino is a Philippines casino, meaning that it may not suit you, depending on where you come from.

BONUSES

There are 5 welcome bonuses, which turned out to be the only bonuses in the casino, and although there is a total of five of them, once they are all used up the user will have no incentive to remain. So the casino must really up its bonus game by including at least one or two reload bonuses. Moreover, thee bonuses only reveal the wagering requirement for them, that we have discussed. These wagering have to be completed within 30 days.

• 1st Deposit Bonus of 150% up to 3888 Php : Users need to complete a 15x wagering requirement before withdrawing.
• 2nd Deposit Bonus of 25% up to Php 3888: There is a 3x wagering requirement.
• 3rd Deposit Bonus of 50% up to Php 3888 Php 5x is the wagering prerequisite.
• 4th Deposit Bonus of 75% up to Php 3888: 8x is what clients have to complete as wagering requirement.
• 5th Deposit Bonus of 100% up to Php 3888: Users have to go through a 10x wagering to be able to withdrawal.

VIP: This loyalty program consists of 4 levels, which unfortunately isn't all that much. The only benefit we read of was something called a “payday bonus” tagged with a 1x wagering requirement.

There are no further bonuses to discuss, which leaves us at the point where we can say that the bonuses offered here are definitely not enough.
Please note that we find that a bonus term that states that the casino has the right to amend the bonus terms and conditions without notice so these bonuses can change at any time and that can royally mess a client's play time with the affected bonus.

LICENSE

SG8 Casino claims to be regulated by the Philippines Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), which makes is a casino based in the Philippines.

We had no way to check if the casino was really regulated there as there is no current proof of this. There's no seal in the footer, we mean. So we cannot actually know it is regulated. But take it that it was licensed. Then what happens? Well nothing unexpected. The casino focuses on the safety, security, and farness of its users. Regulated casino have to prioritize the safety of its clients, the fairness of all the games, and the provision of safety and gambling addiction policies, and more. There is a lot of responsibility here, and a lot at stake, and a license can always put things into perspective.

And even if it isn't it still would not be a scam in our view. After years of reviewing casinos we get the feel of certain platforms, and this one just does not strike us as a scam or a fraud. It may be a risk, but it's not a direct scam to users' data or funds.

Before we move on, we have to mention that SG8 Casino is a Philippines casino, obviously. We say this because this brings about a range differences that may be noticeable to users, both visual and content-wise differences. For one, the casino feels different and has a website that looks and feels slightly less orthodox that what you might expect. This is also present in the short legal documents, which either suggest a lower tolerance towards this, or a negligence towards legal docs. Whatever the case is, any casino enthusiast will notice that SG8 Casino feels different.

The licensing details might be responsible, or not, for the clause we found in the legal docs that claims that the casino reserves the full right to amend the terms and conditions, and this can lead to some unexpected surprises. Why? Because the casino retains the right to change these without prior notice. So user can suddenly find themselves in a pickle very easily and without any warning, and that can alter their game completely.

DEPOSIT AND WITHDRAWAL

Currencies: Euro (EUR)

There was no payments page to take the details from, and thus we were left to the legal docs to take all the details from. The issue was that there was not all that info to quote. All this could have been avoided if the casino only included a payment sub page. This way they would include all the necessary details on how to make a payment. Aside from the mentions of bank transfers and e-wallets, there was nothing to take as payment methods.

The casino even encourages the user to contact the customer support team to learn about the available payment systems, but we have no other details about the matter.

Also there are the ubiquitous payment system fees as well as the currency conversion commissions, both of which apply here and at most inline casinos.

The minimum deposit has been revealed, which is rare for a casino with no payment page. However, the first deposit made by any new player has to be at least PHP 1000. All other subsequent deposits have to be PHP 500 or higher.

Last but not least there is a deposit rollover requirement. All users who have deposited have to play through that deposit at least once in order to withdrawal fully. This is not connected to any bonus wagering, and is a standalone requirement.

GAMES AND GAME SUPPLIERS

The gaming hub looks and feels like a very old school casino, but we are not sure that we like it. There was no real organization whatsoever. The games are divided only into thief main genres, i.e slots, live, table, etc. Moreover, the games are also divided into the different providers.

Lets begin with the slots. What we have here is a collection that seems to be more than it actually is. The fact that we have games, such as Aztec's Treasure, Jack Hammer, Dead or Alive,  Caesar's Empire, Cleopatra's Gold, Asgard, Ancient Gods, Bubble Bubble 1 and 2, Alien Wins, Dragon's Gems, Kung Fu Rooster, Aztec Spins, 1001 Nights,  Legend of Helios, Lucha Libre, Merlin's Riches, Nine Realms, Candy Burst, Dreams of Macao, Pig Winner, Panda's Gold, Buffalo Power, Legend of Cleopatra, Fruits and Jokers, Super 6, and more, doe snot mean that the casino is worth it. Hear us out. There are between 600 to 800 video slot titles offered by SG8 Casino, and no direction you see it it just simply isn't all that much. Not to mention that the slots are a collection of mid to low tier titles, with the big titles missing. Other than these slots, the closest thing to come to these are the jackpot slots.

Live games are a pure and utter disappointment with nothing really to offer. The live games section is in essence one big Evolution game or studio, and nothing else. You need to register to access it, and we don't know what it actually is. There are also table games such as Poker, Keno, Blackjack, Baccarat, and Roulette, but these are very few indeed and not really worth it that much. But, ironically, they are better than what the live games claim to offer.

The last real section of games is the arcade section, where we find the likes of Horse Racing, Bicycle Racing, Dirt Bike, Dog Racing, Pinball Fortune, Dragon Boat, and a couple of more, but that is all there is to it. In other words, nothing much exists here to keep users busy at all. This could have been a great addition but the casino has not done the best job here.

The last thing we expected was for there to be a sports betting platform, but here we are. In fact, even more unexpectedly the sportsbook was good. However, it feels like a different part of the casino, like a separate platform, an attachment from a third party provider. Nevertheless, we have the most popular sport types as well some interesting additions: Soccer, Basketball, Hokey, Volleyball, esports, Tennis, Football, Golf, Dart, Cricket, Snooker, and more, even Politics betting. The platform features bet slips, pending bets, favorites bar, and more. It's by far the spotlight of the casino, and the question is whether this platform alone can redeem the casino? That's up to the user to decide.

Game providers: Real Time Gaming, Spade Gaming, Playson, NetEnt, Red Tiger Gaming, Nolimit City, PGSoft

CONCLUSION

SG8 Casino might not be the online gambling platform that you were looking for. Unless you are from the Philippines, in which case this casino may be for you because there aren't that many alternatives. But for anyone outside this country we cannot hide the fact that there are tons of better casinos out there. Not to sound derogatory or anything buy it's one of those casinos that you can rely on if you have no further choices
