Vegas Is Here
Table of contents
Vegas Is Here is a very exciting name for an online casino! And since the house had launched incredibly recently at the time of writing, having been online for just a couple of days, it managed to set some pretty high expectations in us. However, we are not so that it then lived up to the said expectations. Instead, we consider the casino to be fairly underwhelming.
Perhaps the biggest issue with it is the complete lack of games to play. An online casino can have fantastic payment policies and bonuses, but if there's nothing to play, why stick around with it? There is just one Game supplier that this house has partnered with – Real Time Gaming. So, there's just not enough games at all. And besides that, it's not like the payment policies and bonuses are fantastic either!
The former include far too few payment methods. And each of them has a rather high minimum deposit amount. Withdrawing from Vegas Is Here is a chore, too, with long waiting times, an even higher minimum and a very low maximum amount. As for the bonuses, there are plenty of them, but getting most can be a bit challenging because of the high asking prices. Overall, we simply cannot see any redeeming features in this casino. So, we'd recommend staying away from it. Still, if you're curious about what it gets wrong, you could check out the full review we've prepared below:
Bonuses
One of the most exiting parts of playing in any online casino is claiming a fun bonus or two. And Vegas Is Here has its share of Welcome bonuses, Recurring bonuses and even a couple of VIP Perks. Let's take a look at an overview of all of them:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
Welcome Bonuses | $25 | 200% up to $1000 + 100 spins | 45x | 20x the bonus |
Fun Bonus | $25 | 50% up to $500 + 10 spins | 45x | 20x the bonus |
Recharge Bonus | $30 | 60% up to $1000 + 10 spins | 45x | 20x the bonus |
Everyday Bonus | $35 | 80% up to $1000 + 20 spins | 45x | 20x the bonus |
Monday Bonus | $40 | 100% up to $1000 + 30 spins | 45x | 20x the bonus |
Friday Bonus | $45 | 140% up to $1000 + 40 spins | 45x | 20x the bonus |
Saturday Bonus | $50 | 150% up to $1000 + 40 spins | 45x | 20x the bonus |
Sunday Bonus | $60 | 160% up to $1000 + 40 spins | 45x | 20x the bonus |
VIP Bonuses | - | Unspecified | 10x | - |
Additionally, we'd also like to examine all of the bonuses one by one. However, before doing so, it's important to mention the Wagering requirement of the deposit bonuses. More specifically, the way it was not listed at all on the bonuses' pages! We had to go hunting for it in the legal documents of the casino. We found that it has two different requirements. The first is of 20x, and is applied to bonus funds. The second – of 45x, and applies to the Free Spins you can get from the promotions.
What is a wagering requirement? Essentially, every bonus you can get with most casinos can be withdrawn. But to do so, you need to wager said bonus funds the amount of times specified in the requirement. Usually, such amounts are between 30x and 40x. So while the bonus funds wagering requirement here is excellent, the one which has to deal with the Free Spins is not so great.
There is also a cash out limit which applies to all of the different deposit bonuses with the casino of 20x. This means winnings over 20x the size of the issued bonus will be written off by the house. We consider this fair enough, but are also not fans of Vegas Is Here not mentioning the limit and wagering requirements on its Promotions page. With that in mind, let's take a look at the different bonuses you can get:
- There is not just one but two Welcome Bonuses. These can be claimed over the course of your first two times you cash in. The minimum deposit for similar promotions with most casinos is $20, but it is $25 here. Each of the bonuses is calculated as 200% of the deposit, with a maximum of $500. Additionally, there's also a bundle of 50 Free Spins for each of the promotions, too. Overall, these are some fairly decent conditions for a Welcome bonus, even if the entry cost requirement is a bit much.
After you are done with the initial two bonuses, you can start getting a bunch of Recurring Promotions. Those are available many times per month, provided you cash in on the specific day or pick the desired bonus. However, none of them stack with each other. So, you can only have one at a time. Here's what each of them offers:
- The Fun Bonus has a pretty redundant name. As for what the promotion offers, that is 50% of your deposited funds, up to a maximum of $500. There is also a bundle of 10 Free Spins which is so low as to feel rather meaningless. The asking price for this bonus is also a minimum of $25.
- Each month, you can claim the Recharge Bonus up to ten times. That said, you need to deposit $30 or more to be able to do so. Of course, that's uncompetitive as far as the deposit requirements of any other casino's bonuses nowadays are concerned. But what does the Recharge bonus grant you? 60% of your funds as bonus cash, up to $1000, as well as a meaningless 10 Free Spins.
- True to its name, the Everyday Bonus can be obtained every day. However, keep in mind that you can only have one promotion active at a time. As for what the Everyday bonus grants, that is an 80% boost for your fund, up to a maximum of $1000. There is a slightly more substantial bundle of 20 Free Spins. The promotion does have a $35 minimum deposit limit, which makes it slightly less affordable than the previous. But other than that, the Everyday bonus makes the promotion above completely obsolete.
- Aside from that, there are a couple of Weekly promotions too. What's special about them is the fact you can only claim them on one specific day of the week. The first is the Monday bonus. This promotion has an asking price of $40. This is twice as much as we would consider reasonable. The minimum deposit requirements of the promotions with this casino just keep growing! We are not fans of that at all. What can you get for this high asking price? Well, the promotion adds 100% of your cashed in funds, up to the same maximum as before. It also has 30 Free Spins to offer.
- Next, there's a Friday Bonus, too. It can be obtained on the last day of the week. How much do you need to cash in for it? At least $45. The promotion adds 140% of that, up to the same amount as extra money for your account, though. The maximum is still $1000. It is fairly lucrative. Even the bundle of Free Spins, which has grown to 40 FS by now is more substantial. But we are not sure that the minimum deposit requirement being set as high is excused by that.
- There are two bonuses you can get over the course of the weekend. The first of them is the Saturday Bonus. Predictably, it comes with an even larger asking price of $50. Also, it comes with a higher multiplier for the qualifying deposit you can perform. Said multiplier is of 150%, and the maximum bonus amount of $1000 is fairly substantial, too. The same 40 Free Spins bundle is available on top of all that.
- Finally, the last deposit bonus of the casino is the Sunday Bonus. It features a minimum entry cost requriement of $60. This is three times as what we'd consider reasonable. But we cannot deny that the multiplier for Sunday deposits the promotion features is pretty big, too – 160%. Once again, there's a maximum of $1000, which should come as no surprise by this point. There's also 40 Free Spins to play with, too.
Overall, the Recurring promotions of the casino are fairly decent, but since you can only have one at a time, there's not really much point to it having so many of them available. Especially since some of these said bonuses are just better than the others!
There is one last promotion with Vegas Is Here, though. This is the so-called VIP Program. However, it does not really live up to the loyalty programs we usually see with houses. The only VIP perk here is being able to collect Comp points for every $100 you wager. Then, you can exchange 100 Comp points for $1. This means you need to wager $10 000 to be able to get $10 from the Points. And there's even a wagering requirement on the cash too, you can't even redeem it instantly. Said requirement is just 10x, but still.
The casino hints to there being higher withdrawal limits for VIP accounts, but does not explicitly state what they are. So, these higher limits are just a promise it cannot back up!
License
When it comes to regulation, Vegas Is Here does not advertise itself as a licensed casino. At the same time, it has listed the following logo on its website:
Now, Antillephone N.V. is one of the four master license issuers in Curacao. Normally, it requires the companies overseen by it to implement digital seals in their websites, which can be clicked on. The player is then taken to the register of the Antillephone. The seals usually look different – it is an orange logo, with a different shape altogether. However, the gray one we showed you is actually a functioning seal – here's the page it took us to:
The URL of the page seemed to be from the official register of the Antillephone. We have no idea why Vegas Is Here does not make it more clear whether it's licensed, but the license itself seems legitimate. To be clear, it's great for an online casino to be regulated. In fact, we would argue against playing in unregulated houses. There is way they can provide you the protections you could expect from a house which is regulated by the Antillephone. Here's what said protections are:
- RNG testing: Every game you can play nowadays has a random number generator – a complex mathematical algorithm, which determines whether your bets lose or win. The Game Suppliers which provide licensed casinos with these games are also licensed. This means their generators have been tested extensively, in order to make sure there's no bias in the way their outcomes are produced. In short, with licensed houses, you can always be sure you're playing actual games of change!
- Data Security: There is a lot of data you share with casinos. This can be your personal information, collected as part of KYC checks. It can be information about your payment methods, and so on. Licensed houses need to encrypt all of it, because the information leaking could be fairly devastating to the player! This is an often understated aspect of regulation, but an incredibly important one nonetheless.
- Responsible Gambling: Every casino with a license must take gambling addiction seriously. To that end, the houses are required to provide players with sufficient information on what this addiction can look like and where it can lead to. Generally, you can also expect to be able to find help online, via the resources you are provided with. Secondly, licensed houses also let you take control of your exposure to the casino as well – via the various Self-exclusion measures they can offer you. These measures are being able to set custom deposit limits or even closing down your account unilaterally, if you want to!
As you can see, with such a long list of comprehensive protections, it's difficult to argue against playing only in licensed casinos! But let's get back to our review of this house. Here's a list of the languages its website is available in, and the countries from where it does not accept players:
Languages: English
Restricted countries: Bulgaria, Curaçao, Cyprus, Estonia, France, Hong Kong, Israel, Netherlands Antilles, Spain
Deposit and Withdrawal
The means of deposit with the casino are rather limited – you can cash in using credit cards, bank transfers and Sofort, as well as a couple crypto tokens. Sofort will only be available in select countries, as it's predominately a Western European payment method. Here are the conditions around the deposits and the currencies the casino opens accounts in:
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Credit/Debit Card | $25 | $100 | Instant | Free |
Bank | $25 | $100 | Instant | Free |
Sofort | $25 | $100 | Instant | Free |
Crypto | $25 | $100 | Instant | Free |
Currencies: British Pound Sterling (GBP), US Dollar (USD), Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT)
The minimum deposit is $25, which is over what other houses tend to require of their players. At most, you need to cash in $20 nowadays, and a ton of casinos accept deposits as low as $10. There is a $100 maximum deposit, which only applies to your first transaction. However, afterwards, we are not sure what the maximum you can cash in is.
There are no fees, but the casino will not cover the third party charges, which players can incur from the payment provider they task with processing their transactions. That's pretty much the case anywhere you can play, though, so we are not going to count that as a point against the casino. Let's take a look at the withdrawal conditions:
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Credit/Debit Card | $100 | $1000 | up to 4 days | Free |
Bank | $100 | $1000 | up to 4 days | $60 Fee Possible! |
Sofort | $100 | $1000 | up to 4 days | Free |
Crypto | $100 | $1000 | up to 4 days | Free |
A common AML policy we see nowadays is for houses to expect you to wager your deposited funds 1x to 3x to cash them out. There's no such clause in the Terms and Conditions of the casino, but keep in mind you might be required to comply with a rule like that.
Besides that, there are plenty of things about its withdrawal policies which are wrong. In fact, we are not even sure where to start! The minimum withdrawal is $100, which is four times as much as the deposit! This is clearly unacceptable.
Furthermore, the monthly maximum you can cash out is $1000. This is a very low limit, and it seems like the casino does not want to process your withdrawals in the first place. Perhaps that's also why it takes up to four days to do so! This is an exceptionally slow service.
Additionally, take a look at the following clause in the Terms and Conditions:
Curiously enough, the casino does not have the Euro as an account currency you can pick when signing up. So, this means that withdrawals mean needing to deal with the exchange rate between the EUR and USD, or GBP, or between it and the crypto assets you've cashed in. There can also be conversion fees for you to pay. Overall, this is a very weird policy.
There are no fees by the casino for withdrawing with most payment methods. But bank transfers can allegedly have fees as high as $60. To be clear, this is a fee by the casino. No bank will charge as much to process your payment. This is unacceptable. Especially since there are also the third party fees, which we mentioned above, that you need to deal with.
Games and Game Suppliers
Take a look at the list of Game Suppliers with the casino:
Game providers: Real Time Gaming
It's not much of a list if there is just one Supplier on it. Usually, the new casinos we cover have up to fifty suppliers, often times even more. However, this one only features Real Time Gaming! This means that it has 100-200 games in total, instead of several thousand, like we expected. Nevertheless, here's what you can play:
Slots: Instead of player favorites like Big Bass Bonanza, Book of Dead or Wolf's Gold, you can play games like Planet of the Roos, Robin Hood Riches and Kong Fu.
Table Games: There are a couple of virtual dealer Baccarat, Blackjack and Poker tables, as well as two Roulettes. But the Live games collection with the casino is not up to par. For instance, it features around 10 games in total!
Live Games: The only live game you can play here is Poker. At least there are around 10 variations of it, but there is no way to play Baccarat or Blackjack live. Not to mention take part in any Game show.
Conclusion
Vegas Is Here is not a casino we can recommend. That is on account of there not being anything to play in the house! But even if it had a good games library, we really don't like the withdrawal policies. Everything about them is wrong. So, in conclusion, play somewhere else, where you won't have to deal with such annoying cash out limitations and unfair policies.
