Trading Point of Financial Instruments UK, or more conveniently “Trading.com”, is a UK and Wales based broker that is humbly pushing forward as it offers just the right amount of services, and expertly balances quantity with quality. Read more to find out.
Trading.com has been issued a license from the FCA. The FCA requires detailed reports, proof of financial stability and unconditional compliance with rules and requirements for all brokers under its gaze. Those brokers under the rule of the FCA are members of the FSCS, or Financial Services Compensation Scheme, that, if the broker is unable to pay its debts, is able to reimburse victimized clients up to £85 000.
In the UK and EU ESMA protocol restricts any leverage higher that 1:30.
The average EUR/USD spread flicker between 0.6-0.8 pips, which is very favorable to clients.
The trading instruments offered here are Forex Pairs, Stocks, Commodities, Indices, and Cryptocurrencies. The list is fulfilling, and offers many options to accommodate the different tastes.
TRADING.com LOGIN
We opened a demo MT5 platform, which functioned smoothly.
METATRADER 5
Metatrader 5 has continued to extend the legacy of MT4 with great success, however MT4 still reigns as number one. With that out of the way, MT5 can be considered a much more flawless and fluid trading terminal. With accelerated process times, the ability to trade in centralized markets, and the addition of new and more responsive indicators, and increased time frames, MT5 seems like the way to go.
The EUR/USD spread we read on the demo platform was 0.6 pips, but it usually blinks to and fro between 0.6 and 0.8 pips.
As decreed by ESMA, the leverage cannot, and does not, go beyond 1:30.
The customer support confirmed to us that there are no commissions attached to trading, which means that the spread remains the value we mentioned above, i.e very beneficial to traders.
TRADING.com MINIMUM DEPOSIT
The minimum deposit is $5. This is a very opportune minimum requirement, and works in favor of both the broker and the trader.
The list of base currency in which you can fund a trader’s account are EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, AUD, PLN, and HUF.
Deposit methods are somewhat uncertain, and so we had to scour the website to get all the available depositing methods. This is what we got: Credit/Debit Cards, Wire Transfer, and an unspecified number of e-payment methods (Skrill is confirmed):
All deposits are instant, save for Wire Transfers. The broker does not reveal how long it take to process a Bank Transfer request. From our general knowledge, we think that it shouldn’t take more than 3 days to do so.
The only deposit fee applied is when using Wire/Bank option to fund with a sum lower than $200.
TRADING.com WITHDRAWAL TIME AND FEES
The FCA guarantees the smoothest and safest withdrawals.
Withdrawal methods have not been mentioned. They should not be different than the ones used to fund an account: Credit/Debit Cards, Wire Transfer, and some e-payment methods one of which is Skrill.
All withdrawal requests are completed within 24 hours. The time it takes for the money to arrive into a trader’s personal account is dependent on the payment systems involved.
There are no withdrawal fees, but the broker clearly states in the T/Cs that it can issue withdrawal fees in given cases, most of which involve the trader being abusive or behaving in a way suspicious to fraud:
The minimum withdrawal is $5 as confirmed by a member of the support team.
Inactive account, of more that 90 days, will be charged a monthly fee of £5.
BOTTOM LINE
Trading.com is a very solid and light broker that can be enjoyed by experts and novices alike. We strongly recommend it.
