PlayBoom24 is a fairly little casino that has only been on the market for a few months at the time of writing this review. The establishment mostly seems to be targeting players from the Netherlands – but both the website and customer support were only available in English.

We were definitely not enchanted by what PlayBoom24 had to offer. Not only is this casino completely unregulated but it also offers fairly bad conditions compared to what most big companies can offer. There is only one promotional offer, and the number of games players will be able to enjoy is fairly low. There are also some very unclear withdrawal fees that bother us.

We would still like to give PlayBoom24 the benefit of the doubt – since this is a fairly new establishment, things may change in the future. Until this happens, we cannot wholeheartedly recommend this casino to anyone.

PlayBoom24 only offers one bonus – and that bonus is only available to clients making their first deposit to the casino. The conditions related to that bonus did not seem bad as a whole but most casinos offer a far more varying selection.

Another thing we found quite impressive was that the bonus remains active for a whole 60 days after it has been activated – when most casinos will ask you to reach those same wagering requirements in 30 days, and sometimes even in as little as 7 days.

Even if a company is registered somewhere, that does not mean that it holds any sort of valid gambling license. In fact, Costa Rica is a country that does not have a licensing authority in the sphere of online gambling, any related laws, or a developed regulatory framework. There are some online casinos that operate in the country – some companies see this as a good opportunity to get into business and test their websites and software without having to worry about a license just yet.

Working with unlicensed gambling websites is still risky. With such companies, there are no guarantees – they might be a perfectly safe choice or they might be a very risky one. This does not sound great – we usually like to know what sort of fees we will have to pay upfront. No specific information was provided about minimum and maximum deposit amounts on each payment method. However, you would not be allowed to withdraw more than  €20 000 – which is actually a quite liberal restriction.

PlayBoom24 should not be your first choice when looking for a casino. This is a very new, unregulated establishment which means that depositing with them might turn out to be risky. Moreover, the casino only offers one bonus and charges ambiguous withdrawal fees. Although PlayBoom24 works with a number of established game providers, the game selection was also rather disappointing (with the exception of the rich selection of slots).
