Pisino
Table of contents
Pisino is a new online casino and sportsbook which has recently launched. The focus of this house is crypto, and it has a couple of Crash games which seem developed by the house itself. It also has an interesting chat feature which seems to allow you to talk to other players in real time, as you play your favorite games. However, that's about as much as we can say about the house in term of its positive sides.
In fact, the downsides of playing in this casino massively outweigh its upsides! As we said, Pisino has launched quite recently, and it really shows because its website is woefully unfinished. Perhaps that is why none of the legal documents that are featured on its website actually do a good job of explaining what its services and conditions are, or why it does not mention where it operates from or who runs it. Either way, this is not really acceptable.
There are certain promotions the casino offers to its new clients, but they are not explained in any detail. Of course, we cannot look up the conditions of said promotions in the legal documents which don't exist! Another issue with the house is that there are barely any games to play, as it features an exceptionally small amount of Game suppliers overall.
So, if you wish to play at Pisino, we can recommend against doing so. Check out the full review of this disappointing casino instead, to learn why it's such a bad idea to gamble there:
Bonuses
The vast majority of casinos nowadays try and offer their players unique bonuses, in order to entice them to cash in. That is why a casino without good promotions is going to be unappealing, and rather uncompetitive, to players who are looking for bonuses.
Unfortunately, Pisino seems to be just that kind of casino. There is only one bonus mentioned on its website – the Welcome Bundle. Here is what we know about it:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
Welcome Bundle | - | $1000 | Unspecified | Unspecified |
The promotion consists of three different bonuses, which apply to the first three times you cash in with the house. In total, they add up to $1000 to the account of the player who claims them all. However, that is about as much as we know about the promotions! The way the maximum is spread between them, how much the minimum deposit is, what amount of whatever you deposit can be claimed as a bonus and so on are up to anyone's guess.
In general, Welcome bonuses require a minimum deposit of about $20, and that's about as much as we expect it to be for Pisino. However, we cannot really know what the rest of the specifics are, because they are very different between houses.
The bonus also supposedly gives you a 20% rakeback. Now, a rakeback bonus is an extra reward players can get for every bet they make. However, the percentage here seems to be very high. It is usually under 1% of the value of each bet. We believe the casino most likely gives yo 20% of the house advantage for the bet, which is usually around 3-5%.
We are also unaware how much you can get with the rakeback in total, or how long the promotion lasts for after you have received the initial deposit bonuses.
But there is no information about the restrictions around the bonuses either, which are the wagering requirements and cash out limits that can apply to it. Wagering requirements represent the number of times you need to play through a promotion in order to cash it out, and are usually about 30x to 40x for deposit bonuses, and around 3-5x for rakebacks. We expect them to apply to these promotions, because the vast majority of houses nowadays have similar restrictions, but there is no way to know exactly how high they are. The same can be said about the cash out limits, which are the number of times you need to wager a certain promotion before you can withdraw it.
The house also claims to run its own lottery too, but that is not really a bonus in the narrow sense of the word, and it cannot replace a good deposit promotion. There is also supposedly some kind of Referral system, which has its own rewards that are not specified either.
Overall, we are very disappointed about the casino's promotional structure, and find it to be one of the worse aspects of its services. However, the worst aspect of the services of the house has to do with its lack of regulation:
License
It is very important when you play with a casino to make sure you are dealing with a licensed house. Pisino is no such thing. In fact, it is so committed to its anonymity that there is no mention of as much as who runs the casino, or from where. There is only the following brief line of text on its website:
This does not really tell us anything. And while we don't believe that the casino is actually up to anything shady, there are a lot of protections that players with licensed houses will have access to, which you cannot be certain will apply to your account with Pisino!
The specific protections are quire varied, as some regulators are more strict and some are less so, but the baseline for regulation seems to be the policies of the four license issuers in Curacao. These are the most popular places to obtain licenses for any casino operator out there, because of the unique balance they have struck between the interests of said operator and those of the players. That way, you will be able to get access to vital protections while also benefitting from higher bonuses and fun games you would not otherwise have access to.
Here is what the said protections in Curacao look like:
- First off, the casinos licensed there are able to offer players a lot of different guarantees for the safety of their personal information. Now, that might not seem like such an important policy, but there is a lot of KYC and AML procedures that both you and the casino need to comply with. These procedures are crucial to making sure that financial crime is fought, but they also mean that you need to supply the houses you play in with tons of sensitive personal information. This can include your address, a phone number and all sorts of payment details which could cause you a lot of damage if they fell into the wrong hands. Regulators have long realized that and require houses licensed by them to encrypt all of that info with some of the toughest security protocols, which make it leaking or being obtained by hackers pretty much impossible.
- Secondly, a lot of importance is placed on responsible gambling. More specifically, casinos need to offer players a lot of information about the negative psychological effects that are possible from gambling. They also need to offer you a way to seek help if you think you have developed an addiction. But that is not all, as casinos also provide players with ways of reducing their exposure to gambling by themselves. These exclusionary measures can be custom deposit limits you can set, or even the ability to close down your own account if you need it.
- Thirdly, there are even guarantees about the integrity of the games you can play! The random number generators in these games, which are used to determine the outcomes of bets, are reviewed by professional and independent auditors, selected by the regulatory body. That way, you can be sure you are playing actual games of chance! What's curious about thus casino is that it claims you can check the fairness of its games and has a calculator which allows you to do so. Even though we have not seen this feature before, we cannot say we can trust its impartiality, and the reasons for that are obvious! The only way to know you are playing provably fair games is to stick with licensed casinos.
As you can see, there are many benefits to licensed casinos. We would have greatly preferred it Pisino was one of them. But nevertheless, we need to get back to our review of it. There is only one language option to the casino:
Languages: English
This means its website might not be accessible for certain players from around the world who might not know English. However, there are certain jurisdictions in which we are sure its website is not going to be accessible, this time because of the regulatory approach to online gambling there! Here is a list of said countries:
Restricted countries: American Samoa, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands, U.S.
Deposit and Withdrawal
Depositing and withdrawing with this casino seems to only be possible via crypto. This is a huge disadvantage, because crypto is not a convenient payment method for some players. It is very complex, and they might not want to deal with it.
Even though the house has a huge focus on digital asset deposits, nothing would stop it from also accepting a couple of FIAT payment methods as well! That is how most crypto casinos ensure their services are better suited to every type of player.
Another issue with the deposits is the fact that there is just not enough information about them. Here is what we know regarding the policies around cashing in and what currencies you can use to do so:
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Crypto | Unspecified | Unspecified | Unspecified | Unspecified |
Currencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE)
As you can see, there is not much we can tell you about how you can cash in! What's more, there are barely any crypto tokens you can do so with.
In general, we expect casinos to demand a minimum deposit of around $10-$20, but crypto casinos have been known to have lower amounts. Hopefully that is the case here as well. We don't expect there to be fees for depositing, as that is very uncommon nowadays. However, any crypto transfer comes with its own miner fees. You would generally be required to pay those, which is probably the case with Pisino too.
Now, let's examine the withdrawal conditions:
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Crypto | Unspecified | Unspecified | Unspecified | Unspecified |
First of all, there is no mention of it in the Terms and Conditions of the house, but you might be expected to wager your deposited funds a certain amount of times before you can cash them out. That is a fairly standard AML policy, and it causes no concern, as long as you don't need to wager the money over 3x.
Secondly, there is once again no mention of what the minimum or maximum withdrawals are, and we don't expect them to be anything like the average in the industry, because crypto casinos tend to set pretty different payment conditions between each other.
Thirdly, the processing times for withdrawals are not mentioned at all. That is not great, since we could not speculate on them. Every house has its own internal policies regarding them!
Finally, there should be no withdrawal fees, even if that is not mentioned explicitly by the house. However, what we said about the miner fees will apply to the withdrawal requests you make as well.
Games and Game Suppliers
In total, the casino had nine Game suppliers listed on its website. Here is who those are:
Game providers: Habanero, Evolution, PragmaticPlay, Play'n GO, Big Time Gaming, Amatic, Tom Horn, Apollo Games, Other
Even though there are some pretty popular casino software developers here, the list is very short, and we expect to see over 50 Suppliers with any house. This means that the library of games with Pisino is also inexcusably short. Here is what you can play:
Crash Games: As we said at the start, the casino has its own collection of Crash games. These include HiLo (a variation on Blackjack), Crash, Hash Dice and Limbo.
Slots: The list of slots with the house is incredibly short – there are a couple of less known games like Rise of Giza, Might of Ra and Juicy fruits, but none of the classics like Big Bass Bonanza are anywhere to be seen.
Table games: Supposedly, there are certain live table games that are offered by the casino, but we could not load them. It is possible they are yet to be added, but at the time of writing, there seems to be just a Roulette table you can play, with a virtual dealer. That is far from what we expected to see!
There is also a pretty shallow Sportsbook you can access, split into eSports and Sports betting. Neither one of these has the depth and the number of markets we are used to seeing at better casinos, but there is at least live betting for a couple of matches.
Conclusion
Overall, Pisino is pretty much irredeemable. There was something wrong with every aspect of its services we examined. Consequently, we can only recommend that you find a better place to bet instead of wasting your time with this house!
