LICENSE

Moon Roll Casino is owned by Space Gaming B.V., and also operated by it. The latter is said to be registered in Curacao, and also regulated there. In fact, the firm is supposedly licensed by none other than Curaçao eGaming. However, oddly enough, there was no regulatory seal, and no actual proof that the parent company, and hence the casino, are actually regulated at all.

But as it turned out there was no way to check if the company is regulated. This probably has to do with the fact that a seal of approval is a requirement set by regulators to all licensed casinos, meaning that if you are a linseed casino you are required to have you seal visible and available on your website.

The issue with most Curacao licenses is that there is no direct way to check if a license is in place. And thus, at the moment of writing this we have no way to check if Moon Roll Casino is actually regulated, as the website claims.

This makes out job quite difficult since we are currency on the edge between writing for a legit casino, on the one hand, and an unregulated one, on the other. So, we are at a standstill. However, there is some compelling evidence in the casino to suggest that it actually is not licensed.

There was no payment page, even if the casino states once or twice in the legal documents that there is actually a dedicated payments page. That's a direct lie, but not a first time for any casino. There seem to be fees applied to deposits and withdrawal issued by the casino itself, but the payments page that were supposed to hold these, as we already revealed, have no information on these. So, essentially we have on our hands a bunch of hidden deposit and withdrawal fees.
On top of these there are also payment system fees as well as currency conversion ones. At least these two types are normal.

We, as users, are prohibited to apply for chargebacks, and in a case one is made the casino has the full right to revers the amount to your deposit, and compensate the casino for it. Moreover the casino can and probably include a hefty €50 fee for any chargeback attempt.

We have a classic withdrawal rollover clause. Any deposit made within the casino has to be rolled over at least once before withdrawing any money. Otherwise, the casino will deduct a withdrawal fee of 8%.

Also, the wagering actually can be determined by the casino at its own discretion which means that the casino can easily trick the user into playing  more, and thus increasing his chances of losing more money. We aren't legal experts, but we think that if licensed casino rarely act in such mischievous ways.

On top of all that, add the €5 monthly dormant account fee, but at least here it's fair. And account will become inactive after 12 consecutive months of inactivity.

There's definitely a shady side to many of these payment details that we have revealed, and perhaps even more clauses that we have missed. At times Moon Roll Casino really does feel like a an unregulated entity.

We personally did not like the presentation, and we found the level of organization to be lackluster. When both elements combined, we were faced with an unimpressive display of what could have been a much better collection.

There's a proprietary Roulette game operated by the casino, which is made quite deep and engaging. It's not your standard roulette game, with a wheel and ball. No, here there's a single line that is “spun” from right to left, and lands on a given position. It's made simpler and is not as burdening, in terms of software, for the casino, but is does feel a bit boring and one dimensional. Meaning that it is not enough to redeem the studio from its mediocrity.

There's also a new minesweeper game, again property of the casino. But the game lacks any substance and really fails to draw users in. It's also quite boring. Therefore, nothing to get excited about.

Overall we know much better casino out there, and despite the abundance of slots, we don not really recommend this collection.

CONCLUSION

It's not only the lack of a license and the disappointing games, or any of the other lackluster elements that break the immersion. It's the way that each negative actually maesk sense when considering the previous con, and that is actually kind of impressive to pull out. But in all seriousness, Moon Roll Casino is not really worth you time at its currency ambiguous state.
