M88.io is a crypto-friendly casino which also has Spots betting available. Just by itself, this statement does not mean the house is anything new to the egaming scene! In fact, there are tons of different websites which all seem to fit the same niche. And when rating this particular one by its services, it does not rank up very high!

We'd like to start off with the fact that the regulatory status of the casino is rather uncertain and that we could not confirm it. Secondly, the promotions offered by M88.io are decent, but their conditions and structure are nothing new, or all too exciting. Thirdly, the payment methods available are just various crypto tokens. A lack of player choice in how to cash is always a significant drawback, with any casino we have covered. Fourth, the house does not make it clear what its withdrawal policies are, which is a critical lack of transparency. Last and worst of all, this casino has a tiny games library, which means that even if the previous issues were not as serious, there would still be pretty much nothing to do.

Bonuses

Here is what the bonuses offered by M88.io look like:

Now, these promotions are pretty much nothing special. They are mostly generic reload bonuses with two more interesting exception towards the bottom of the table. However, said promotions have a very significant detail to them – their wagering requirement. Such requirements represent the amount of times you need to turn over the bonus funds which have been issued to you. They are usually between 30x and 40x. However, the player here is expected to wager the deposits plus the issued bonus.

This means that, in practice, that when looking at the 100% bonuses, you actually need to wager the amount you've received and the amount you have cashed in. The wagering requirement gets twice as big. A 50% bonus will only add 50% of the deposits a player makes. However, the casino will require you to wager the original deposit plus the 50% bonus on it. Effectively, this means you need to wager the money three times! All of this leads to the unfortunate conclusion that some of the wagering requirements are higher than this average range. Even though the wagering requirements are placed at lower amounts than that, the actual times you need to turn a bonus over is very unreasonable.

Regardless, let's take a look at each of these promotions. We'd like to start with the Welcome Bonuses. All of them add 100% of the funds a player has cashed in on their first deposit. So, you can only pick one Welcome bonus. They also have a low minimum deposit requirement of 10 USDT, which one does not see too often nowadays! Here are the three bonuses themselves:

• The Live Casino Welcome bonus is a promotion for players who wish to bet on classic table games, playable in live dealer variants. The maximum bonus you can get from this promotion is 500 USDT, which is fairly high. The wagering requirement is 28x, which adds up to 56x when you count the fact you need to clear it twice. Of course, that is not acceptable.
• Next, we mentioned that M88.io has a Sportsbook, and if you wish to bet there, you will be able to do so with the Sports Welcome Bonus. It adds up to twice as much as the previous promotion to a player's account, with a high maximum bonus of 1000 USDT. The wagering requirement here is interesting, because sports bonuses tend to have lower desired turnovers. At the same time, they have restrictions on what games you can bet on. That does not seem to be the case here, and the Sports bonus needs to be wagered 12x, or 24x when one accounts for the condition we talked about at the start.
• Lastly, the Slots Welcome Bonus represents a great opportunity for players to kick back and enjoy their favorite Slot games. The promotion adds up to 1000 USDT to your account, which you can use exclusively to spin the reels. The money comes with a 20x wagering requirement. This is the only bonus with M88.io which we consider to have a reasonable requirement!

There are also two Reload Bonuses, but we actually think they are fairly bad. That is because they have a higher minimum deposit than average – 30 USDT, when most casinos take up to 20 USDT. They also have wagering requirements which are three times as high as they would be if the casino did not make you roll over the deposited funds as we mentioned. Regardless, here is what those look like:

• The Sports Reload Bonus grants players 50% of the deposited sum, up to 150 USDT. This is not a particularly noteworthy amount, and its wagering requirement of 22x (66x) is not great either.
• There is also a Slots Reload Bonus, which has the same multiplier for your funds, and the same maximum. The only difference between the two promotions seems to be what you can play them on, as well as the wagering requirement. The latter is set to 18x (54x). Even though it is lower, we would still say its way over the top!

Finally, there are two bonuses which are  tied to the Loyalty System of the casino. Essentially, you are rewarded the more you play, with your account growing into higher levels. The higher the level, the better and more exclusive promotions you will get! However, M88.io is not particularly competitive with this bonus either! That is because you don't rank up instantly once you get the required wagering volume. Instead, you actually need to wait for a month for your account to be reviewed. What is there to even review for so long? This is a completely unnecessary delay. Either way, here are the types of bonuses you can get with the Loyalty system:

• The VIP Bonuses include a daily cashback, which gives you up to 5% of the losses you realize from the games you can play with this casino. There is also a Rakeback, which grants you a bonus of up to 1% of any wager you make. Unfortunately, we don't know what the maximum amounts of these promotions are, or the casino's wagering requirements for the money which you can get from them. What we do know is the fact that the house has set the conditions on its other monetary promotions up in a pretty unreasonable manner, so we are not holding out hope for these bonuses being much different. Other perks of the VIP program include custom withdrawal times, higher betting limits and dedicated account managers. These do sound nice, admittedly!
• There is also a bonus called Trip to Spain Tournament. The promotion is tied to the Loyalty system because only accounts of level 2 (silver) or higher can participate. The Tournament pits players against each other, and seeks to determine who can bet the most among them. If you wish to see how you stack up to other casino enjoyers, tournaments are a pretty great way to do so. The reward is, as the name of the promotion suggests, a trip to Spain with all expenses covered by the casino. All of that is great, but we should mention that other houses run more inclusive tournaments which don't require you to have reached a certain account tier. As far as regulation is concerned, M88.io claims to be licensed by a regulatory body called the PAGCOR. Here is what the house has to say about that:

Regardless, we don't think that this means it is automatically fraudulent in any way.
