LuckyBay is a very new casino supposedly regulated in Curacao – but its regulatory status could not currently be determined. That is actually quite worrisome – and considering that the casino had little to offer in other regards, we would consider it to be quite the dealbreaker. The small game library and the limited number of possible payment solutions also played a part in this judgment. If you are looking for a good casino to play with, LuckyBay might not be the best of choices. Read the following review and decide for yourself.
LuckyBay Bonuses
LuckyBay offers some very good bonuses – but only to new clients. The casino offers a No Deposit Bonus upon registration as well as an excellent Welcome Package that gives you the chance to get bonuses on your first three deposits. If you are not e new client, however, you will be disappointed since this casino provides no options for such players. Casinos usually offer a lot more than a good Welcome Package – often, you will be able to take advantage of various Reload and Daily Bonuses, Chargeback and Rakeback programs, Free Spin options, etc.
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
No Deposit Welcome Bonus | - | 125 spins | 25x | - |
First Deposit Welcome Bonus | €20 | 300% up to €8000 + 200 spins | 40x | €2000 |
Second Deposit Welcome Bonus | €20 | 150% up to €8000 + 100 spins | 40x | €2000 |
Third Deposit Welcome Bonus | €200 | 100% up to €8000 + 100 spins | 40x | €2000 |
LuckyBay's No Deposit Bonus requires you to open an account with the casino in order to get as many as 125 free spins. This is actually quite a lot since casinos would not usually grant players more than 20-30 free spins. The wagering requirements are also quite low for such a bonus – just 25x. Most casinos would usually ask you to wager the bonus (and your deposits) 30-40 times before you can withdraw but such conditions mostly concern average bonuses. No Deposit Bonuses tend to come with higher wagering requirements – sometimes even as high as 60-80x – because, after all, you were not asked to deposit at all. In that regard, LuckyBay's No Deposit Bonus seems like quite an attractive offer. There is a catch, however – winnings from the No Deposit bonus can be used and withdrawn only after a player has made their First Deposit of at least €20. You should also keep in mind that Free Spins expire 24 hours after being awarded – which is a fairly short period of time.
The First Deposit Welcome Bonus grants you a top-up of 300% up to as much as €8000 as well as 200 Free Spins. To get the bonus, a deposit of €20 is required. Both the deposit and the winnings from the Free Spins must be wagered 40 times before withdrawal. Keep in mind, however, that there is a cash-out limit – €100 for the free spin winnings, and €2000 for the cash bonus.
The Second Deposit Welcome Bonus adds 150% up to €8000 to your account. You will also get 100 Free Spins. Once again, you are expected to deposit at least €20 and wager the bonus 40 times. The cash-out limit is also the same.
The Third Deposit Welcome Bonus allows you to get an extra 100% up to €8000 and 100 Free Spins. The wagering requirements are 40x, the cash-out limit is €100 for the free spin winnings, and €2000 for the cash bonus, and the minimum deposit amount is €20.
LuckyBay License
LuckyBay is supposedly operated by Placebo N.V. – a well-known company that is regulated in Curacao and that is behind a number of smaller casinos. If that is true, it would mean that LuckyBay is also regulated in Curacao via its parent company – which it claims to be. However, we had a problem with verifying the casino's license – the digital seal that the casino has embedded in the footer of its website simply did not function. This bothered us since it could mean that the license is actually fake. However, since this is a very new casino, we are willing to give them the benefit of the doubt – they might not have had the time to link the official license yet. Only time will tell what the exact situation is but for now, we would recommend that you keep one eye open when dealing with this casino.
In recent years, Curacao, an offshore jurisdiction, has been fairly popular with online gaming enterprises. A Curacao license, for instance, is far easier to obtain than one issued in the UK or Malta (the two top-tier jurisdictions in the industry), but it still proves that the casino follows certain regulations and provides a certain level of security. Instead of directly regulating casinos, the Curacao government has given licenses to four separate companies that serve as master license operators. These organizations are then in charge of overseeing casinos, resolving client complaints, and ensuring that all technical, anti-fraud, and privacy protection standards are being followed.
There are many excellent and reliable casinos with Curacao licenses, but you cannot count on such companies providing the same level of security as Maltese and UK casinos. However, because they place fewer limitations on clients, offshore casinos are popular with players. Make sure you are working with a trustworthy company by conducting your research in advance – this might save you a lot of trouble latter on.

LuckyBay is a crypto casino which means that you will only be able to deposit in crypto – the accepted cryptocurrencies are BTC, LTC, BCH, ETH, DOG, and USDT. The minimum required deposit and the minimum possible withdrawal amount are both €20 – which is fairly fine. What is good about crypto payments is that both deposits and withdrawals are processed fairly fast – usually within 10 minutes. The casino does not charge any additional fees but you should be prepared to pay all blockchain fees that might occur.
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Crypto | €20 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
The casino asks you to wager your deposits at least two times before you can make a withdrawal request. Such requirements are fairly standard – casinos try to prevent money laundering. You will usually be asked to wager your deposits 1 to 3 times so nothing out of the ordinary here.
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Crypto | €20 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
LuckyBay has some quite liberal withdrawal limits. Clients can withdraw up to €2500 per day and €15 000 per month which is actually pretty good.
LuckyBay Games and game suppliers
LuckyBay does not collaborate with that many game suppliers – just 13. Although most of these game providers are respected and well-known, this is a very disappointing number that is bound to lead to a limited game library. There are plenty of casinos that collaborate with far more game providers, sometimes even with as many as 100.
Game providers: Betsoft, LuckyStreak, Platipus, Wazdan, Evolution, Tom Horn, Booming Games, Belatra, Alg, Mr Slotty, Other
To be completelly fair to this casino, their Slot selection was quite good – even though we did not see some of the current most popular slots, clients will still be able to choose from a lot of different games with a lot of different themes. Some of the slots players will get to enjoy include Book of Egypt, Don Juan's Peppers, Fruit Mania, Ancient Temple Gems, Exotic Fruit, The Hive, Joker Chase, The Night Ricing, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Jungle Stripes, Lava Loca, Stellar Spins, Captain Shark, Aztec Magic Megaways, and many others.
If you are more interested in playing online Table Games, this casino offers a fairly big disappointment. We only got access to 24 games in total – far from the hundreds of games some casinos are able to offer.
What is weird is that, even though LuckyBay supposedly has a Live Dealer Game section, we were not given the chance to play any such games. This section of the website just would not load thus not giving us the chance to access any live casino games or game shows.
As a whole, LuckyBay's game library will come as a disappointment to anyone other than fans of slots since the casino did not have all that much to offer in this regard.
Conclusion
LuckyBay is a new casino that has very little to offer. This establishment still does not have a clear regulatory status which is bothersome enough but the general conditions did not impress us either. The game library offered limited choice and the payment method selection was limited to crypto. Other than a few good welcome bonuses and high withdrawal limits, LuckyBay has little to offer. Better look into more reliable alternatives.
