Lempi Casino works within a great framework, but does not take advantage of it potential and the resources it has to offer a compelling case. The resulting casino is subpar, and that's too bad.
It's worth saying that Lempi Casino leans towards offering its services to Finnish platers. Not only is Finnish the only alternative language, but the term “Lempi” translates to “favorite”, from Finish. So, there is a prevailing Nordic theme here, expressed through a very Scandinavian blue, as well as a simple yet effective interface reminiscent of IKEA furniture slogans.
BONUSES
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
Welcome Deposit Bonus | €20 | 125% up to €400 + 50 spins | 40x | Unspecified |
Welcome Deposit Bonus of 125% up to €400 Plus 50 Free Spins: The minimum deposit in order to activate the bonus is €20. However, there is a wagering requirement set at 40x the bonus amount plus the deposit, as well as the free spins wins. So there's a lot of ground to cover before a client can withdraw. During the wagering process the user can place bets as high as €5, and the time frame within whihc the wagering has to be completed is 30 days, giving the client plenty of time for doing so. Free spins however expire after 72 hours, and unlike most casinos, all free spins profits are strictly bonus funds. Also, all free spins are playable only on Big Bass Amazon Xtreme.
There are no other bonuses to speak of. However, there was a huge bonus terms and conditions page that turned out to be useless because there were no bonuses. Either the casino is yet to introduce new bonuses, or we are missing something. But the relatively confined website had nothing, we double checked it.
LICENSE
Lempi Casino is a brand by Geokul Limited, a company that is registered in Malta and operates under a Malta Gaming Authority license.
And that's very good news, because the Maltese license falls into the list of some of the best regulators out there. Here's why.
The country has long been a HUB for online casinos, and it one of the oldest ones in fact, with a tradition since 2004. Its adherence to high standards and professional approach to licensing gambling activity has made it so that many casinos would rather have it as a regulator that their local licensors.
However, there is an arduous road ahead for any casino wishing to be licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority.
To obtain a license form Malta a casino must be prepared to meet a ton of criteria, the most crucial of which we will discuss. But first and foremost the casino must prove to be transparent and a clean and honest business with no criminal connections, a focus on integrity and safety, as well as fairness.
- All Maltese casinos must be secure and safe for users to play and deposit in.
- Fairness of gameplay is crucial for a smooth customer experience, while it also keeps the reputation of the casino clean.
- A major requirement is to offer guidance to gambling addicts or those exhibiting such behavior. The casino has a number of strategies that it can implement.
- It has to grant report to the commission whenever needed, with what ever material it is required of it.
These, and other requirements, have been met by the casino we are currently reviewing, and so there's every reason to trust it with your funds, that it if you like its offers. Of course, there are other Maltese casinos out there. However, the license does have to count for something, and that is that, in spite of everything, Lempi Casino is safe, secure, and fair for all users.
Of course, any transgression, even minor ones are met with the suppression of the license, and perhaps even a revocation of it.
With all that said however, we did find quite the permissive clause in the legal docs that states that the casino can, at its own discretion, change the legal docs by amending them or withdrawing certain clauses. This is fine were it not at its discretion, meaning that one minute everything is fine and the next your favorite game is gone, or the wagering requirements have been changed, completely altering your experience. What's worse is that in the same clause the casino states that it will not be liable for any loss suffered form the consequences of these changes.
Now we don't know how such clauses are acceptable, but who are we to judge the regulator; apparently such behavior is acceptable. But it's worth noting the clause anyway.

There was no separate payments page anywhere, so we had to take what little there was as payment info from the legal documents, where such info is always incomplete and vague. We learn that the depositing methods are revealed only when the client opens an account, making this a downright bad approach which essentially blocks unregistered users from knowing what the payment details are. So the payment methods, as well as the minimum deposit requirements are available to registered clients only.
There was also no deposit or withdraw processing times revealed, no real mention of any fees issued by the casino, although we highly doubt that the casino will have hidden fees; not that we have not seen any of these in the past, but with a regulation such as the Maltese one, this is doubtful. But still it would have been great to have a reassuring clause in the legal docs.
There will be currency conversion fees, as well as payment system ones for users on whihc these fees apply. These are pretty standard. There's also a potential €50 fee for making a chargeback, but the worst case scenario for proceeding with one is actually a full account closure. Again, the chargeback clause might seem a bit seedy but the fact remains that it is within Lempi Casino's right to apply it.
Now for the dormant account clause. An account becomes inactive after the user has not logged into it for more than 12 monhts. There is a €5 monthly fee on the account that is applied until the account reaches zero or until the account gets reactivated. After 29 months of inactivity the casino will close down the account and keep all the funds still in it. But before that, the client will get an email notification.
As you can see the payment details are limited, while the ones that we do have are ill defined and loose. And that is an outdated approach, one that clearly impedes many users but also the casino. It could profit more if adapted a more transparent style where all the payment details are clearly exposed. Through such an approach, the client will be able to make informed decisions about the payments, and thus making the entire process much smoother, not to mention beneficial for the casino itself.
GAMES AND GAME SUPPLIERS
Lempi Casino nails the presentation and organization aspects of the games collection, but that is not enough to redeem the casino from the issues of mediocrity.
On the video slots front, we have big hitters like Book of Dead, Reactoonz, Starburst, Big Bass Clash, Fire Joker, Moon Princess, Big Bass Bonanza, Wolf Gold, Legacy of Dead, Rise of Olympus, Sugar Rush, and other hugely popular titles. But at the end of the day, the collection of slots is not the biggest, and thus there is a fair amount of limitation here. Missing are the long and endless lists of slots, the 3000+ games that modern players are hungry for; in a world built on content and the prevailing predilection of substance over style, a phenomenon expressed even in the online casino industry, the delivery of quantity of slots is much more preferred than the quality.
Live games feel like an after thought. Don't believe us? Well, consider that there are only 19 live games, consisting of Crazy Time, Roulette, Blackjack, Live Monopoly, Dice Games, Mega Ball, Cash or Crash, Funky Time, Dream Catcher, and a couple of more variations of these. It's not a highlight, as these games usually are, and thus seem more like filler content than an actual core part of the casino. And that is a wrong way of approaching these things, and we cannot be sure if the casino is aware of this or not.
For us, the worst place to find oneself in this industry, as an online gambling platform, is in the pale state of mediocrity, where, unfortunately, Lempi Casino currently is. It's games collection is simply not that impressive, and the lack of furhter gaming types is just a reminder that the casino hasn't got the upper ground within the competition. However, unlike other casinos of the same caliber, Lempi Casino has the potential for more. Here's hoping that one day it will expand its library of games, and perhaps even go into sportsbook territory.

CONCLUSION
Lempi Casino could have been so much better than it turned out to be, so much so that even we, with out objective stance, still feel annoyed at the platform for not taking full advantage of its resources. What could have been a great online platform turned out to be an above average experience, that is, frankly, frustrating on all ends.
