Kingamo is a fairly recently launched online casino. And we were pleasantly surprised the first time we stumbled upon its website. The casino has an easy to navigate lobby, where you can find all of its games. Additionally, signing up is a pretty straightforward process, and so is cashing in. There is a plethora of payment methods which were all available with the house, when it comes to deposits.
However, we should also mention that, even though the casino is pretty friendly when it comes time to deposit, that is not the case if you are trying to withdraw! Instead, there are some pretty restrictive policies which it makes players comply with. There are not enough payment methods and cashing out can also carry fees, which is very uncommon, and, in our view, unjustified.
So, we cannot really give a concise answer as to whether you should play at this casino or not. Instead, check out the full review of the house, available below. Within it, we will share with you everything you need to know about Kingamo:
Bonuses
Bonuses are one of the first things players tend to look for in a casino, and a good set of these promotions can really help a house stand out from the rest of its competition. Unfortunately, we found that Kingamo was somewhat lacking with regards to its promotions. They are somewhat unimaginative, and their conditions are not really all that great. Still, the promotions are pretty readily available, and all deposits you place with the casino can benefit from a promotions. There is a Welcome Bonus, as well as a couple of Recurring Promotions and a set of VIP Bonuses. Here is an outline of all of them:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
Welcome Bonus | $20 | 100% up to $1000 | 45x | Unspecified |
Monday Free Spins | $20 | 100 spins | 45x | $100 |
Weekly Reload Bonus | $20 | 88% up to $300 | 45x | Unspecified |
Friday Free Spins | $20 | 30 spins | 45x | $100 |
Weekend Reload Bonus | $20 | 50% up to $200 | 45x | Unspecified |
VIP Bonuses | - | $5000 | 3x | Unspecified |
Now, we'd like to examine the different promotions in a bit more detail. Let's start off with the Welcome Bonus:
- Usually, casinos offer a pretty massive initial deposit bonus, which can be obtained the first time you cash in with them. That is the case here as well – the Kingamo Welcome Bonus grants you 100% of whatever you cash in, up to a maximum of $1000. The minimum deposit requirement to be able to redeem the bonus is set to $20, which is in line with the rest of the casinos which offer similar promotions. However, we did find its wagering requirement of 45x to be a bit over the top. A wagering requirement represents the number of times you need to play through a bonus if you wish to cash it out – and usually, it is set to 30x-40x at most. So, even if it is by a little, Kingamo is over that line. There is no mention of a cash out limit within the Terms and Conditions of the bonus.
Secondly, there is a very wide range of Recurring Bonuses, which can be claimed an indefinite amount of times, as long as you cash in on a specific day of the week. Let's also take a look at them:
- The Monday Free Spins promotion nets you up to 100 Free Spins. Despite its name, it can be claimed between Monday and Thursday, by cashing in $20 or more. The amount you deposit determines how many Spins you get. That way, depositing $20 nets you 20, $40 grants you 50 Spins, and the maximum reward of 100 Spins can be claimed by cashing in $60 or more. The same 45x wagering requirement we mentioned is applied to this promotion as well, and it is still a bit over the top in our view. Especially since there is also a cash out limit to the bonus! Winnings from it cannot exceed $100, regardless of the size of the Free Spins bundle you have obtained.
- Secondly, there is a Weekly Reload Bonus, which can be claimed once every seven days, if you deposit $20 or more. The promotion gives you 88% of whatever you cash in as an exclusive bonus, which can be as high as $300. There is no cash out limit, but the same wagering requirement of 45x is applied here, as well, which we cannot say we are really fans of!
- If you cash in right before the weekend, you can get the Friday Free Spins bonus. It is a lot more simplistic than the Monday bonus which grants you spins. Instead of three different bundles of them, based on your deposit, the Friday bonus nets you just 30 Spins. In turn, it only requires that you deposit $20 or more. However, the downsides of the bonus include the wagering requirement and the cash out limit of $100, which are also present here, as well.
- Another generous promotion is available on Saturdays and Sundays. It is called the Weekend Reload Bonus. True to its name, it grants you a bit of extra cash – 50% of deposits made during the specified days, up to a maximum of $200. The same wagering requirement is applied to this promotion as well, though there is no cash out limit.
All in all, these are some fairly standard promotions, and we cannot really say they are breaking new grounds. On the other hand, the casino features a set of VIP Bonuses which are a bit more innovative. It features several account levels, across which you can progress. That is done by earning a specific amount of an exclusive in-house currency called Comp Points. You earn one Point for every $100 you wager. There are exclusive rewards you can receive once you level up, but they are all bundles of Bonus money. The highest among them is $5000, while the lowest is just $10. The wagering requirement for any of them is just 3x, which is incredibly low.
Some casinos use their VIP programs to offer their players exclusive account features. For instance, there can be higher withdrawal limits for holders of higher account tiers. That does not seem to be the case here, and it seems that Kingamo is content with just handing out its cash bonuses. That seems like a bit of a missed opportunity in our view.
License
Kingamo claims that it is licensed, and by one of the most popular regulatory bodies at that! Here is what the house has to say on the important topic of its regulation:
Gaming Curacao (GC) is a preferred destination for casino operators to obtain licenses nowadays. It is one of the four license issuers in the small Caribbean country Curacao. The same country has become the heart of the online gambling industry, because of the unique approach to regulation of the GC and the other three licensing bodies. They offer players an important set of protections, while also not being overly restrictive towards the interests of the operators. That is why you can be sure that licensed houses are safe, while also benefitting from higher bonuses and other exclusive perks. We have already shown you the bonuses offered by Kingamo, but we would also like to share the different protections you can expect, by virtue of the license of the casino. Before we do that, let's take a look at the casino's license, so we can prove that the house is actually regulated:
This is an excerpt from the register of the GC, which fully confirms what the house had to say about its license. This means that you will be entitled to the following:
- There is a lot of information players need to share with the operators of the casinos where they play. This information is collected in order to comply with AML measures, which makes casinos safer that if no such policy was envisioned. However, said info is very sensitive, and features all sorts of personal details you wouldn't want leaked or obtained by hackers in any way. Regulatory bodies also want to protect your valuable info, which is why they have mandated licensed casinos store anything they collect from you using some of the strictest security protocols available nowadays.
- Secondly, playing with a licensed house means playing in a place which takes problem gambling seriously, and does its upmost to restrict the damage such tendencies can deal. That is why licensed casinos are required to offer their players a wealth of information on what it can look like, as well as where to seek help. That's not all, though, as license holders are also required to make sure that their players have access to certain self exclusion features. For instance, you can set custom deposit limits, opt in to time out warnings, or even close down your account unilaterally, without giving any justification for that to the casino. These measures are very important in keeping gambling safer for everyone!
- Finally, how can you know that the games you can play with casinos are not manipulated in some way? With licensed casinos, that is possible because of the regulatory requirements for license holders to undergo regular audits. These audits are performed by independent and impartial professionals, who go over the code used within the casino games and assess whether there is any bias towards the house or not. That is how you can be sure that when you are playing with a licensed casino, be it Kingamo or another house under the oversight of the GC, you are wagering on actual games of chance!
Overall, we are very happy that this casino is licensed as strictly as it is. In general, we much prefer dealing with regulated houses over their counterparts which cannot offer you the same safety guarantees. However, let's get back to our review. Here are the languages you can view the website of the casino in:
Languages: English, Spanish, German, Finnish
Additionally, below is a list of all the countries from where you will not be able to open an account with the house from. That is due to the regulatory approach within them towards online gambling:
Restricted countries: Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom, Show All, Angola, Austria, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Burkina Faso, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, Chile, Congo (Brazzaville), Congo (Kinshasa), Curaçao, Cyprus, Côte d'Ivoire, Denmark, Eritrea, Ethiopia, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Gibraltar, Greece, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Jersey, Korea, North, Latvia, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Lithuania, Mali, Malta, Martinique, Mauritius, Mayotte, Montserrat, Myanmar, Netherlands Antilles, New Caledonia, Nicaragua, Palestine, Panama, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, Rwanda, Saint Martin (French part), Sierra Leone, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Slovakia, Somalia, Spain, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, Ukraine, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Wallis and Futuna Islands, Yemen, Zimbabwe
Finally, the casino operator behind Kingamo, called XXL Services N.V. has been featured in our other reviews before. Here is our coverage of LionSpin, another casino by the same company, if you are interested in how it stacks up to this one.
Deposit and Withdrawal
There is a lot of variety when it comes to the payment methods accepted by the casino. There are credit cards, e-wallets, e-voucher payments, and even crypto is accepted. Here is an outline of what these means of deposit are, as well as what currencies you can use to cash in to the house:
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Credit/Debit Card | $20 | $5000 | Instant | Free |
Bank | $20 | $5000 | Instant | Free |
Revolut | $30 | $2000 | Instant | Free |
Skrill | $20 | $5000 | Instant | Free |
Neteller | $20 | $5000 | Instant | Free |
Paysafecard | $20 | $5000 | Instant | Free |
eZeeWallet | $20 | $5000 | Instant | Free |
Jeton | $20 | $5000 | Instant | Free |
MiFinity | $20 | $5000 | Instant | Free |
SticPay | Unspecified | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
Crypto | $20 | $5000 | Instant | Free |
Currencies: Australian Dollar (AUD), Brazilian Real (BRL), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Indian Rupee (INR), Mexican Peso (MXN), Norwegian Krone (NOK), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), Euro (EUR), US Dollar (USD), XRP, Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Cardano (ADA), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Dogecoin (DOGE), Binance Coin (BNB)
The minimum deposit is $20 for all means of cashing in, except for Revolut which requires you to deposit $30. This is a very competitive condition, as most other casinos need you to cash in about $20 at most, too. Additionally, we would like to mention that there are no fees that Kingamo charges for deposits. You will have to pay any third party charges which arise, though. These are the small fees charged by the payment provider for processing whatever means of deposit you are using. That is how these charges are usually handled by casinos nowadays.
Now, let's also take a look at the withdrawal conditions of the house:
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
MiFinity | Unspecified | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fees Possible! |
Crypto | Unspecified | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fees Possible! |
First off, we'd like to mention that before you can cash out at all, you need to clear a 3x wagering requirement of your deposits. That is a common enough AML policy, which does not really bother us by itself. What's a bit more troubling is the following clause in the Terms and Conditions of the house:
It stipulates that you can cash out your winnings up to two times per day before Kingamo will start taxing them with a fee. This fee is of 10%. There is just no reason why the casino should be charging anything, though! Additionally, what we said about the third party charges applies to withdrawals as well.
The minimum withdrawal amount is not stipulated, but we expect it to be around $20, as that is the minimum requirement to cash in. You can withdraw up to $2000 per day, which is fair enough.
Perhaps the biggest issue with the withdrawals policy is the fact that you are only limited to two means of cashing out, which we definitely don't like. Given how many different deposit methods there were supported, we see no reason why players need to be restricted like that.
Finally, there is a fee for inactivity, which you can see outlined below:
This fee is charged to accounts which have not been logged in to within the past year. It is fairly common for casinos to have such taxes, and the size of this one is pretty low.
Games and Game Suppliers
Here's a list of the game suppliers we saw listed on the Kingamo website:
Game providers: 1x2gaming, 1spin4win, Leap-Gaming, Iron Dog Studio, 3 Oaks, 5 Men, Absolute Live Gaming, Amatic, Atmosfera, Belatra, Endorphina, Merkur, Kiron, Evoplay, Gamzix, Felix Gaming, Fugaso, Igrosoft, KA Gaming, Kalamba, Live Slots, Lucky, Mascot, MPlay, EAgaming, Mr Slotty, Fazi, Nucleus, Platipus, Popiplay, High 5 Games, Slotmill, Smartsoft Gaming, BGaming, Spade Gaming, Spribe, Swintt, CT Interactive, Thunderkick, TrueLab, Turbogames, Vibra Gaming, Wazdan, Zillion, Other
This is a bit under 50, which means that the casino does not have as many of these Supplier partners as we generally expect to see. However, its library of casino games does offer a good amount of variety, and you can pretty much play anything you would expect to find. Here is a list of the games you would have access to:
- Slots: Some recognizable games like Big Bass Bonanza, Wolf's Gold and Gates of Olympus are not available, but there are games like Book of Dead, Elvis Frog and Green Chilli 2. Slots with popular mechanics like Megaways and Bonus Buy can be found here, as well.
- Table Games: No casino would be complete without a set of classic table game experiences, like Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack and Roulettes. This is no exception, and Kingamo features a relatively good amount of them, playable in various rulesets and with either live or virtual dealers.
- Game Shows: We always appreciate casinos offering televised games like Crazy Time, Gonzo's Treasure Hunt, Crazy Coin Flip and so on. Sadly, Kingamo has not opted in to offer those, and we cannot find them on its website!
- Instant Win: This section of the casino library includes a number of high-ante Crash Games. These games are excellent for players who are looking for a fast-paced and thrilling experience, and include titles like Aviator and Plinko.
Conclusion
There are a lot of upsides to this casino. We can appreciate its license and games, as well as its deposits policy. However, at the end of the day, we cannot really recommend playing here. That is because the casino does not offer competitive withdrawal conditions at all. As much fun as you can have with it, being forced to cash out with a tiny amount of payment methods, as well as potentially having to pay fees for accessing your own funds really diminishes the experience you can have here. Additonally, we found the bonuses offered here to be lackluster, in the sense that they were unimaginative, and in the sense that they had restrictive wagering requirements.
Ultimately, we can recommend checking out the rest of our reviews and finding a better casino to play at, one which respects your time and money a bit more, and can offer more competitive withdrawal conditions and bonuses!
