Jack's House
Table of contents
Jack's House is an online casino and esports betting website, which was launched right at the start of 2024. However, the house clearly needed more time in the oven, because it is pretty lackluster in several important areas. First off, the casinos' bonus policies are quite messy. It has too few promotions and their terms are unclear. Also, there's a fairly malicious clause which prevents withdrawals while a bonus is active, that has no place in any modern casino.
Then, the house has too few games. Usually, casinos manage to secure at least 50 Game Suppliers as partners before they launch, but that's not the case with this one. It features around 20, which is very insufficient. The license over the casino is not all that strict either.
But there are also a couple of decent aspects of the features of the casino, and we cannot say it's all bad! The house features a decent enough policy on deposits, if a bit of an unclear one. The withdrawal conditions are not bad either, aside from the clause we mentioned.
And it seems that the operator of the casino is actually developing it, meaning a lot of the issues with it could be resolved. So, we can definitely say that there's promise in Jack's House! Let's take a more thorough look into it, so that we can see whether playing here is worth it or not:
Bonuses
A full list of the bonuses with the casino is available below. You will notice there are just three of them, which is not really great. Especially when two of them are one-time deposit offers, and the third is an unfinished VIP bonus. Still, let's take a look at the promotions:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
Casino Welcome Offer | €10 | 100% up to €850 | 20x | Unspecified |
First Deposit Bonus | Unspecified | 400% up to €400 | Unspecified | Unspecified |
Bet More, Earn More | - | Unspecified | - | - |
Confusingly enough, Jack's House seems to have two mutually exclusive bonuses. These are the Casino Welcome Offer and the First Deposit Bonus. They do have pretty different conditions, and it does seem like the player can pick one when initially cashing in with the casino. The conditions of the First Deposit Bonus are not really outlined in any detail either, which actually does make us wonder whether it can be obtained. Either way, let's take a look at both of these bonuses:
- The Casino Welcome Offer is an incredibly straightforward bonus. It allows players to get a fairly sizeable bonus on their first deposit, one of up to €850. The promotion is calculated as 100% of the said initial deposit, which is fair enough. Even though most casinos tend to have higher multipliers for these initial deposit bonuses, the one here is nothing to scoff at. The minimum deposit requirement is set to €10, which we are quite fond of. This is definitely towards the low end, when one considers the bonuses with the majority of casinos these days. What's even better is the low wagering requirement of just 20x, tied to the bonus. A wagering requriement simply represents the amount of times you need to play through a bonus in order to be able to withdraw it. Usually, similar promotions would have that set to 30x or even 40x. It is quite beneficial to the player that Jack's House has picked a much lower amount, as it means the bonus can be withdrawn faster. No mention is made of a cash out limit tither.
- Secondly, the First Deposit Bonus is also available when you initially cash in. It does pretty poorly when compared to the other promotion, though! This is because the casino does not share any information about the promotion, aside from the fact that it has a 400% multiplier for your initial deposit, and the maximum size. Said size is €400, which is not bad either. However, what the minimum deposit amount and wagering requirements of the bonus are, is up to anyone's guess. It is reasonable to assume they are higher, given the much higher bonus multiplier here, too, but we cannot say either way. The page where the bonus is outlined seems pretty broken, too. If you have managed to successfully claim it and play with it, please share what that was like in the comments under the review.
That is about as much as Jack's House has to offer in terms of Welcome bonuses. And there is not a single Recurring promotion either! There's no way to obtain extra cash or Free Spins once you are done with the previous promotions. If if happens that one of the developers of the casino stumbles upon our review, they should consider adding a bunch of such bonuses.
The other, third, promotion with the casino which is currently available is called Bet More Earn More. Jack's House claims that this is the “beta” of its VIP program. It claims that, while said VIP program is still under development, the bets players make in the meantime are tallied and count double towards earning them Points. There is not enough information on the bonus, but we can deduce that the Points are the in-house currency of the casino. They are most likely going to be spendable in a Bonus Shop, or could be usable to level up your account. If the latter is true, we could see a tiered VIP rewards system, with exclusive bonuses and account perks at the higher tiers.
Either way, we cannot say what the bonuses of the casino will look like in the future, nor should we have to guess on that. It is more than enough to just say that the bonuses are very underwhelming and uncompetitive at the time of writing and leave it at that!
License
We believe that Jack's House is a licensed casino, but its regulatory situation is a bit tricky. Here is what the house has to say about its license:
It claims to be overseen by Curacao Interactive Licensing (CIL), which is one of the four regulatory bodies in a small Carribean nation most casino lovers know about at this point. This is because the vast majority of new online casinos are licensed by one said bodies. And while three of them maintain registers, where players can check to see if a house is licensed, the fourth, the CIL, does not. It only requires that casino operators maintain a copy of the license of the casino on their website. You can view the license of Jack's House:
But since the licenses are hosted on the website of their holder, this does make them a bit less trustworthy. Technically, forgeries are possible. We acknowledge that this is more of an issue with the way the CIL issues its licenses, though, and less an issue with Jack's House.
Either way, we do believe the house to be licensed. It does not seem fraudulent to us. And regulation is very important, because it does mean the casino is able to offer certain protections to its players, which they would not be able to access otherwise. The regulatory bodies in Curacao are a bit less strict when it comes to those, but you can still be sure you have access to the following with them:
- RNG testing: The games you play in licensed casinos are provided by regulated and reliable Suppliers. These Suppliers submit the code used to build their games for audits. The audits are performed by impartial auditors, who can easily detect if there is any bias in the way the outcomes of the games are produced. The end result for the player is that the games of licensed casinos pay out as much as they are supposed to, and that is a verified fact!
- Data safety regulation: The information you share with an online casino when playing there is fairly sensitive. You might have to show it pictures of your ID card to verify your age, for instance. Not to mention all of the banking information which the casino has to store on you. So, how can you be sure that all of that info is stored safe? Well, by simply playing with a licensed casino! They are required by the regulators to encrypt any last bit of info the player hands over, which ensures your digital safety!
- Self-exclusion and responsible gambling: As with any licensed casino, Jack's House is required to provide its players with self-exclusion options. With this particular casino, those are the ability to set custom deposit limits, enable a cool-off period, during which you cannot play, and close your account. These are standard features which you'll find in most regulated casinos nowadays. But said regulated casinos also need to offer you enough information to know what gambling addiction can look like, lead to, and where you can seek help. These sensible regulatory requirements help foster a more mature online gambling environment, which is safer for all players.
Overall, a licensed casino is infinitely better than an unregulated one. If we had to pick between playing in one of the two, the unregulated house would not even come close! So, we are happy that Jack's House does have the regulatory background it has. But now, let's get back to our coverage of the casino.
Languages: English
Its website is only available in one language, which is fairly disappointing. English is a global language, but a house making its website accessible to players from all over the world is always something we appreciate. And Jack's House does allow plenty of players from non-English speaking countries, within certain restrictions, to sign up. Excluding these jurisdictions is necessary for the sake of compliance with their rules on online gambling. Here's a list of these countries, from where you will not be able to sign up:
Restricted countries: Australia, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom, Show All, American Samoa, Aruba, Austria, Belgium, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, Curaçao, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Guam, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Korea, North, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands, U.S.
Deposit and Withdrawal
When it comes to the payment methods of the casino, they are crypto only. And while Jack's House does accept a decent enough range of digital currencies, we would have liked to see a couple more FIAT payment methods, too! Especially since it seems that the base currencies of the casino are FIAT ones – the Euro and the US Dollar. The bonuses are in these currencies, and the Terms and Conditions which outline things like the minimum withdrawal amounts mention them too.
This means that depositing here will most likely mean a conversion between the respective FIAT currency and the digital asset you are cashing in. So not only is there no choice for anyone who doesn't want to cash in via crypto, but it seems like even crypto enthusiasts will have to pay conversion fees. No-one can be happy with this deposits policy!
Either way, here's an overview of the deposit conditions:
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Crypto | Unspecified | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
Currencies: Euro (EUR), US Dollar (USD), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), USD Coin (USDC), Tether (USDT), Dogecoin (DOGE)
As you can see, there's not much we know about them. Neither the Cashier page of the casino, nor its Terms and Conditions mention a minimum deposit. It is possible such has not been set in place. One of the advantages of crypto payments is that they usually come with lower minimums.
There are no fees by the casino either, but third party charges are up to the player to cover. And it is here that we come to one of the disadvantages of crypto, too! There is going to be a fee by the miner processing your transaction every time you cash in or out of the casino. This fee will be up to you to cover.
Speaking of cashing out, here's what the withdrawal conditions of the house look like:
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Crypto | €25 | €2500 | up to 3 days | Free |
Please note that there is a 1x wagering requirement which you need to cover before withdrawing from the house. This is a fairly standard clause, which you'd find with the majority of casinos nowadays.
The minimum withdrawal is €25, or its crypto equivalent, while the maximum you can cash out each day is set to €2500. These are fair enough conditions, even if the minimum is a bit high. So is the processing time of up to three days. When it comes to miner fees, they will need to be covered by you. Of course, that's the case with pretty much any casino nowadays, so we are not really going to complain.
What does deserve us complaining is the following clause:
It means that getting a bonus will make you completely unable to withdraw. This is not acceptable. Casinos sometimes make withdrawals cancel out bonuses, which we believe is also unfair, but much less so. Jack's House is even worse, and this clause should not be in its Terms and Conditions at all.
Games and Game Suppliers
Another underwhelming aspect of the casino is the amount of games it has. Of course, every game has been developed by a Game Supplier. So, the more Suppliers there are, the more games you can play. Here are the Suppliers which you can see listed on the website of the house:
Game providers: 2BY2 Gaming, BetGames.tv, BGaming, Big Time Gaming, Caleta, Evolution, Fugaso, Gamzix, Golden Hero, Hacksaw, Just For The Win, Kalamba, Mancala, Games Global, Nolimit City, OneTouch, Onlyplay, PGSoft, Playson, Red Rake, Spribe, Triple Edge Solution, Turbogames, Other
As we said at the start, Jack's House is not able to live up to what we expect – 50 Suppliers or more. Instead, it has around 20. Still, there are a bunch of games by them to play. Let's take a look:
- Slots: There are under a thousand slots here. This is a very low number, as most casinos have 4000+ of them. What's more, the slots are incredibly poorly organized. There is no way to filter out games, except by their Supplier. So finding anything you might want to play is more of a chore than it is exciting. As for the games themselves, at leas there are a couple of recognizable slots, like RIP City and Wanted: Dead or a Wild. However, other player favorites like Big Bass Bonanza, Book of Dead, Wolf's Gold and so on are nowhere to be seen.
- Table Games: Table games are a staple in any casino. This one has a couple of them, and lets you play virtual dealer versions of Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack, Roulettes . Live dealer versions of the games are also available, which is great. Overall, this is probably the best section of the casino's catalog.
- Game Shows: Jack's House does partner with Evolution Gaming, which means it can bring you a couple of exciting Game Shows. These include Cash or Crash, Crazy Time, Gonzo's Treasure Hunt, Crazy Coin Flip, Lightning Roulette and so on.
- Arcade: This is a smaller section of the casino's library, which hosts around 120 miscellaneous games. These are Crash games like HiLo and Mines, but also Scratch card games. We can appreciate the house including it in its catalog.
- Esports betting: Even though Jack's House does not allow for conventional sports betting, it will let its players wager on the outcomes of various esports. These include massive LOL and DotA II events, but also even smaller events from games like Age of Empires 2. At the time of writing, all the sports you can bet on are listed on the website of the house, but you still have to wait for the sports betting feature to be implemented, it seems. Yet another reason why Jack's House should have been launched later!
Conclusion
Overall, from everything we mentioned so far, one thing becomes clear: Jack's House should not have launched in such an unfinished state. Even though it has the markings of a decent casino, there are a lot of issues to fix. Chief among them is the withdrawals restriction. As long as it is in the Terms and Conditions of the house, we recommend staying away from it. But even without it, there are much better options out there, so it's best to stick to them instead of playing in this casino.
