iSlot
Table of contents
iSlot is a newly launched online casino and sportsbook. However, it seems like the house needed more time to prepare for its launch, because there are several aspects of its services which are clearly unfinished. For instance, even though iSlot promises that it will offer access to sports betting soo, the casino has launched without that. Aside from that, there is a lot of information missing from its Terms and Conditions.
We expect casinos to clearly outline aspects of their services like the minimum and maximum deposit and withdrawal requirements, but that is not something iSlot does. Furthermore, it does not seem that its payments page is ready either, because, even though it is supposed to accept certain deposit methods, it does not as of the time of writing.
All of that makes for a very lackluster experience, and we were not surprised to discover that the house has a disappointingly short list of games which you can play, too. There are way less Suppliers listed by the house than what we'd generally expect to find. We cannot say we were impressed by its promotions either.
We would like to expand on all of these issues, and everything else you need to know about this casino. So, check out the following review if you are interested in learning more about iSlot:
Bonuses
Most casinos nowadays offer many interesting bonuses, in a bid to stand apart from their competition and incentivize players to stick around with the casino. There are also a lot of players who are primarily looking for these fun and competitive promotions to play with, but this casino is unable to provide any such thing. Instead it just offers a couple of lackluster and poorly defined bonuses, which we will now outline:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
First Deposit Bonus | $20 | 100% up to $1000 | 25x | Unspecified |
Unlimited deposit bonus | - | 15% up to $150 | 12x | Unspecified |
VIP Bonuses | - | Unspecified | - | - |
Referral bonuses | - | Unspecified | - | - |
Let's start off with the First Deposit bonus. Just like its name implies, the promotion awards you a certain bonus based on how much you have initially cashed in. The minimum deposit requirement is set to $20, which is about as much as we expected it to be for such a promotion. More importantly, the bonus adds 100% of your cashed in funds, up to a maximum of $1000. This makes the bonus fairly sizeable. There is also a relatively low wagering requirement of 25x to it, too.
Wagering requirements are a part of nearly any promotion nowadays and simply represent the amount of times you need to wager the funds received from said promotion, in order to cash it out. Usually, we see such requirements set to higher amounts for such bonuses – between 30x and 40x. So we can say that iSlot is ahead of the curve with this promotion. Unfortunately, that is the only bonus it offers that we can say so about. Let's go over the rest of the promotions, too:
- The Unlimited Deposit Bonus is available every time you cash in with the casino, but comes with a rather low multiplier of 15% of said deposit. The maximum you can get from the bonus is $150, and its wagering requirement is just 12x. These are not bad conditions per se, but we would like to know whether the promotion can be stacked with other bonuses, or not. We should also mention that iSlot does not mention whether there are any cash out restrictions for it.
- Next, there are a couple of different types of VIP Bonuses which can be obtained via the Loyalty System of the casino. The way this system works is simple – the more you deposit with the house, the more your account's tier increases, and the better promotions you unlock. The first of these bonuses is the Level Up reward which can be obtained once, upon reaching the next account tier. There is no list of these rewards, but we do know that the first one is $5. This is not a very promising start, especially when iSlot does not mention whether you can cash out this money at all.
- Following this promotion, the casino features a Weekly Cashback bonus. Once you reach account tier two, you can start earning the Cashback, which is calculated as a certain percentage of your losses from the previous week. The lowest percentage is 2% and the highest is 10%. There is a specific mention that the casino has not restricted the maximum amount of money you can get with the cashback bonus. It also claims that there is no wagering requirement you need to comply with in order to withdraw the funds. Both of these make the cashback promotion fairly solid, but do be aware that you need to invest a lot of time and money in the casino in order to reach its higher levels.
- The Anniversairy bonus is a bonus which becomes available a year after your account was created, and can then be claimed on an annual basis. However, we have no clue what that bonus entails for the majority of account tiers. We do know that the final tier, Platinum, receives a $600 bonus, which is fairly sizeable. What's more, the casino says it distributes the promotion to the player's account automatically, which means you don't need to cash in anything to get it. And yet, there's no mention of what the wagering requirement is for the promotion, nor whether there is any cash out limit, which we would need to see in order to determine whether it's worth it getting the bonus in the first place.
- Next, the casino supposedly offers Exclusive VIP Bonuses to its most loyal players. Once again, though, the house does not clarify what they actually consist of, when they can be obtained or what the conditions around them are.
- There are also VIP account features, like a dedicated account manager. Needless to say, what that manager actually does is not really described well at all, and your guess is as good as ours. What's more, the casino advertises that its highest VIP members can go on an all-expenses paid trip, but we have no information on where you can go, for how long and so on. All of this makes us want to avoid the program more than to participate in it.
- The Referral Bonuses you can earn are for introducing the casino to your friends. It claims up to $8888 is up for grabs from referrals, and that you can earn a 25% commission from the accounts you've referred. Of course, what iSlot does not mention is how the commission is calculated. Is it based on the losses of the accounts you've referred or their winnings? Perhaps it is based on the deposits they make. Since the casino does not elaborate on the promotion, there's no way to know!
License
On its website, iSlot claims to be licensed by Gaming Curacao (GC), as you can see below:
The GC is one of the four regulatory bodies, which are responsible for overseeing egaming in Curacao, a small Caribbean nation that has gained prominence in the world of online gambling. These four bodies are the most popular destination for casino operators to obtain licenses in, because of their less strict approach than bodies like the MGA or UKGC. Being licensed in Curacao means that a casino is able to offer you all the protections you need, while also not being overly restricted in terms of what bonuses it can offer and what games you can play.
But how can you know that iSlot is indeed a licensed entity? Well, the Gaming Curacao logo is actually the Digital seal of the regulatory body. Every license holder is required to implement it on their websites. Clicking on said Seal leads us to the register of the license issuer, where the following entry for iSlot is present:
There is no doubt that the casino and its operator are licensed! Let's go over the protections that you will be able to get access to because of that fact:
- Fist off, Curacao-licensed houses are able to guarantee that the games you can play with them are actually fair. That is achieved via the regulatory requirement for them to undergo audits, which certify just that. The audits are performed by independent professionals who go over the random number generators used within the games. Every bet you can place with a casino has its outcome dictated by such generators. By reviewing them, the auditors are able to certify whether the games pay out as much as they are supposed to, and whether you are dealing with actual games of chance!
- Secondly, dealing with a licensed casino also means a lot of protections for all the data you share with the house. As per the AML requirements for casinos, they need to collect a lot of information about their players. This includes details about who you are, where you are playing from and all sports of payment data. It is important to combat financial crime, but it is also important for the casino to be able to guarantee that the odds of this data leaking or being obtained by hackers are sufficiently low. This is done via the strict encryption protocols which houses are required to implement by the regulatory bodies.
- Thirdly, there are also specific measures casinos are required implement in order to combat problematic gambling behavior. These include, but are not limited to, offering players with sufficient information on what such problems can look like and where to seek help. However, there are also self-exclusion measures which you can opt in to directly, if you wish to reduce your exposure. These are custom deposit limits you can place, as well as the ability to opt in to time out warnings, or even close down your account, should you need to do so.
For all of its issues, the regulatory background of iSlot is quite respectable. We generally prefer to deal with licensed houses over their unregulated counterparts.
However, let's get back to our review. Here is a list of the languages you can view the website of the house in:
Languages: English
Furthermore, every casino nowadays has certain restrictions on the countries you can view its website from, in compliance with its regulatory requirement. Here is a list of these countries:
Restricted countries: Australia, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Show All, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, Curaçao, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, French Southern Lands, Netherlands Antilles, Saint Martin (French part), Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Spain, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands, U.S.
Deposit and Withdrawal
When it comes to cashing in or out, iSlot has some pretty confusing policies! The house claims that it accepts FIAT and crypto deposit both, but the FIAT payment options are not implemented yet. This means that you can cash in only via crypto, which is a bit unfortunate. Plenty of players like cashing in that way, but there are also those who do not. That is why casinos should offer a plethora of payment methods in general.
Still, here is what the rules around deposits and the currencies you can cash in look like:
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Crypto | Unspecified | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
Currencies: South Korean Won (KRW), Chinese Yuan (CNY), Tether (USDT), Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), Binance Coin (BNB), Bitcoin (BTC)
As we said, you cannot really deposit in CNY or KRW, regardless of the fact they are explicitly mentioned as payment methods by the casino.
The minimum deposit is not specified, but iSlot recommends you cash in at least 10 USDT, which implies that lower deposit amounts are accepted. In general, casinos tend to require you cash in around $10-$20 to open an account, so we are happy that this particular one is able to go lower that this average.
There are no deposit fees by the casino, but third party charges, in the form of miner fees, apply to every crypto transaction. You will have to cover them, and, in all fairness, that is how such extra expenses are handled by any house these days.
Now, let's examine the withdrawal conditions of the casino:
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Crypto | Unspecified | Unspecified | up to 3 days | Free |
iSlot has not seen fit to even make a mention of what the minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts are. This is information which is very important for the player to have before they cash in, and we cannot really speculate, because casinos tend to set their minimum cash in and out requirements in different ways from one another. Nevertheless, minimum withdrawals are usually as high as $20, and we expect that to be the case here too.
The processing times for cash out requests are set to three days. This is how much the internal review process for every request to cash out can take, and you should know that your money can take up to seven more days to reach your account, depending on the payment method. This three day approval process is pretty average with what the rest of the casinos nowadays are able to offer.
Next, there is no information whether you need to wager your funds a certain amount of times before you can cash out. Usually, you need to do so, in order to comply with AML requirements, but this casino does not seem to have included such a requirement in its Terms and Conditions.
What we said about third party charges applies to withdrawals too, and there are no fees by iSlot associated with them. However, there is an inactivity fee to take into account:
Accounts which have not been logged in to for 12 months will be considered inactive, and deactivated. They will be charged $5 per month, which is what the size of similar penalties for inactivity usually is.
Games and Game Suppliers
The games library of the casino is the most disappointing aspect about its services. Here is the short list of Game Suppliers that we found within said website:
Game providers: PragmaticPlay, Evolution, Other
This is just not good enough, when the majority of houses launch with the titles of over 50 of these Suppliers in total. Even if the issues we discussed iSlot having so far weren't present, there would still be no reason to play with the casino, on account of its terrible games catalog. Here is what said catalog consists of:
- Slots: There are around fifty slots by PRagmatic Play. Even though this is a big supplier and you can play games like Dog House: Megaways, Sweet Bonanza, Gates of OlympusBig Bass Bonanza, Wolf's Gold and so on by it, this pales in comparison with what other casinos are able to offer. In fact, if a house has under a thousand slots in total, we consider it to be lackluster with regards to its catalog, much less if it has as few as this one.
- Table Games: There are supposedly Live dealer table games you can play – Baccarat and Poker, in particular. We say “supposedly” because the casino does not let you access them unless you've cashed in. There is no way to play any version of Roulettes, or Blackjack, which are huge omissions.
The games you cannot play with iSlot also include Game Shows and Crash games – two staples of the gambling industry nowadays, which we are not happy with the casino not offering access to. Also, as we said at the start, even though sports betting is supposed to be available, at the time of writing it is just nowhere to be found.
Conclusion
iSlot is a pretty bad casino. In fact, its regulation is the only redeeming aspect of the house we can point to. Given its lacking bonuses, the low amount of things to play and the concerningly vague payment policies, you would have a lot more fun playing somewhere else!
