Be aware that the services of GT.io will be available from the 1st February 2021. As of yet, the broker offers only its home page, on which, fortunately, most of the necessary info is found to write a full review.
The GT.io brand is regulated and available in two separate jurisdictions.
- GT IO Markets (Pty) Ltd is a registered brokerage in South Africa under the domain gt.io/za. The broker is regulated by the local South African Financial Sector Conduct Authority. The FSCA is in charge of monitoring all non-banking sectors in the country, which includes the securities exchanges as well as Forex brokers. Keeping an eye on the local FX sector and making sure it is transparent, safe, and fair is what the FSCA has always strived for.
- 360 Degrees Markets Ltd is Registered in Seychelles, and regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority. The domain of this one is gt.io/en. However, the regulator gives a non-existing website tied to the 360 Degrees Markets Ltd result on the regulator site. It is our belief that the Seychelles Financial Services Authority has forgotten to update its site. On Seychelles, all brokers are required to hold at least $50 000, have 2 shareholders and 2 directors on land, and the broker must keep capital in a Seychelles bank account. However, keep in mind that Seychelles Financial Services Authority does not require that users' money be kept in segregated bank accounts.
Both domains are operated by ISPASS Technologies Ltd, a Cypriot firm, that is actually not regulated by CySEC. However, seeing that both broker domains hold legitimate licenses, we can confidently say that GT.io is offering legal FX services.
The services of the broker are not aimed at residents of the EU. This means that it can offer a higher leverage than the ESMA-limited 1:30 cap.
As we already mentioned, all the following info concerning trading and payments are taken from the only source we have- the website.
The trading assets are forex currency pairs, cryptocurrencies, metals, indices, energies, shares. The leverage is capped at 1:500, which is the typical offshore value. There is an indication on a EUR/USD spread of 1.4 pips
For now, the website is available only in English.
GT.IO LOGIN
GT.io seems to have prepped the MT5 as its main trading software. The MT5 is by far the best software for trading out there. It somehow was able to surpass its predecessor, the MT4. It comes with some of the most useful trading features out there, including time frames, pending orders, an economic calendar, EAs, VPS, One Click Trading, Level2 Plugin, stop/loss and take/profit, and so much more that we can fill this entire review just talking of the MT5 and all its capabilities. Unfortunately, we cannot attach a snip of the platform, but we can vouch for its presence.
GT.IO MINIMUM DEPOSIT
The minimum deposit is not revealed as of yet.
Payment methods are Skrill, Neteller, SticPay, and a range of crypto payment options.
All these payment methods should be able to fund an account in a matter of minutes.
There are no deposit fees.
GT.IO WITHDRAWAL METHODS AND FEES
The same deposit methods are used for withdrawing as well.
Withdrawal fees as said to be non-existent.
The broker promises to process all withdrawal requests within 3 hours.
As of yet, there are no further details on withdrawals or anything for that matter.
BOTTOM LINE
GT.io has put upon itself a big load of promises to fulfill. However, none of them seem unrealistic or unachievable. Overall, we believe that this will be a decent broker, one for everyone to try and hopefully thrive through. Once it opens, nothing will be in your way to deposit!
