Golden Billy certainly did make a great first impression, and I did enjoy its enchanting and magical themes quite a lot! However, there are quite a lot of issues I experiences while playing here, too, which make it difficult for me to recommend checking the house out. For instance, I ran into a very high minimum withdrawal limit from the gambling house, set to $40. That was twice as much as I could otherwise cash in, and there's nothing I like less about an online casino than having a good cash in minimum followed by a restrictive minimum withdrawal amount. This always feels like a policy designed to make it harder to withdraw, instead of easier! Another major issue with Golden Billy I encountered was the lack of license, with the house being owned and run by a company registered in Costa Rica and lacking any additional regulation. That said, there were some good aspects Golden Billy as well. I found its games library to be pretty large, which is always great to see, and it did have a special app I could download for either an IOS or an Android device, something I don't see too often these days! Similarly, its deposit conditions are good, but nothing special and the same can be said about its bonuses. First things first, claiming the No deposit bonus of Golden Billy should be possible by entering a promo code during sign up. If you have managed to claim the No deposit bonus of Golden Billy, though, you will be eligible to withdraw it once you wager it 50x. That might seem a bit high to players who are accustomed to the usual wagering requriement of 30x-40x for deposit bonuses, but their No deposit counterparts tend to have significantly higher requirements, sometimes up to 60x, 80x or even more. So, the limit here can be said to be competitive.

Then, there is a maximum win limit of $50 for the bonus, and a cash-out limit of $10, with the latter applied to the promotion when you withdraw it. The $50 limit is in line with the average of $50-100 that most houses tend to have for their No Deposit bonus offers, but the other limit is actually a bit too low, in our view! Nevertheless, we hope to see a No deposit bonus from the gambling house sooner rather than later, given how exciting these promotions are!

The First Deposit bonus of Golden Billy 

Before we go over the First Deposit bonus, we'd like to provide you with some context for the Welcome package it is a part of! This Welcome package of the gambling house consists of up to $3000 and 300 Free Spins, which you can claim over the course of the first through the fourth deposit you make to the casino. As you can see, the Package does provide players with a high maximum award, but most of that is awarded to you via precisely the First Deposit bonus of the house.

This bonus requires a minimum deposit of $30 to claim, which is decent enough, if not a bit too high, with the average entry cost requriement of such promotions being $20 at most. The reward for claiming the bonus is a 100% boost for the funds you cash in, all the way up to $2500. Also, you get to use 100 Free Spins, credited to you over the course of four days, in batches of 25 Spins. However, to claim the Spins, you need to wager your deposited funds 1x, which is a bit unfortunate, in our view.

Overall, though, the bonus is pretty high, and its withdrawal conditions are pretty fair. You can cash out the winnings from the Free Spins after clearing a 40x wagering requirement, which is in line with the 30x-40x average we mentioned before. The wagering requriement of the Cash component of the bonus is not specified, but we assume it to be 40x as well, based on the other Cash deposit bonuses of Golden Billy. Also, there is no mention of a maximum withdrawal limit for the promotions, which is quite exciting in our view!

The Second Deposit bonus of Golden Billy 

As we mentioned just now, most of the rewards which are part of the Welcome bundle of the gambling house are granted to players over the course of the First Deposit bonus of the casino. This leaves the next two bonuses, the Second and Third Deposit promotions, a bit bare, in our view, and makes them pretty uncompelling.

To illustrate, the Second Deposit bonus offers you a bundle of just 40 Free Spins! Also, you need to deposit $30 to claim it, which is higher than the average we outlined before. What's more, you need to wager your deposit 1x in order to have the Spins awarded to you in the first place, instead of getting them instantly. At least there is no maximum win limit and the wagering requriement of the gambling house is set to a decent amount of 40x!

Nevertheless, getting the promotion is a prerequisite to get to the next two bonuses, so let's take a look at both of them and see what they offer too:

The Third Deposit Bonus of Golden Billy 

Unfortunately, this is another fairly disappointing promotion, which just nets players a total of 75 Free Spins. To top it off, the minimum deposit limit for it has been raised, from the already unreasonable $30 requriement, all the way to $50! This might even make the bonus less worthwhile than the Second deposit offer.

Also, as with any Free Spins promotion of the casino, you are required to wager your deposited funds at least 1x to claim the Spins in the first place. On the other hand, the wagering requriement of 40x the winnings from them is fair and there is no mention of a Cash-out limit in the Terms and Conditions of the promotion either.

The Fourth Deposit Bonus of Golden Billy 

To round out the promotion of the gambling house, the Fourth Deposit bonus of the casino provides players with a significant amount of extra cash to play with, up to $500. That amount of Cash is counted as 110% of the respective deposit amount, which is great too. There is also a bundle of 85 Free Spins as part of the promotion, available to be claimed, too, but you have to wager your deposited funds the required 1x times, as we previously explained to get the Spins.

So, what's the catch with the bonus? Well, there is a very high minimum deposit requriement to it! This requriement has been set to no less than $100, which is just not acceptable in our view! At least the withdrawal conditions of the promotion are pretty decent, which somewhat makes up for that, with a wagering requirement of 40x and no cash out limit.

To summarize the Welcome package of the gambling house, we honestly found it to be a bit underwhelming! Especially the Second and Third Deposit bonuses, which don't really stand up to what other casinos offer as part of their Welcome bonuses. Nevertheless, the First bonus is pretty worthwhile, and the Fourth is decent, too, if you can stomach its high entry cost requriement.

Golden Billy's Monday Free Spins 

Next, let's go over the Weekly bonuses of the gambling house. These promotions can be claimed once per week, as their name implies, and allow players to get them an unlimited amount of weeks in a row! They are the backbone of what you will be able to get from the house in terms of bonuses. So, let's start off with the first of them, called the Monday Free Spins:

As the name of the promotion implies, you will be eligible to claim a bundle of Free Spins, up to a maximum of 100, by depositing on Mondays. The minimum deposit limit of the casino's promotion has been set to $20, and placing that nets you 20 Free Spins as a bonus. You could also cash in $50 for 50 Spins, or $100 for 100 Free Spins. We don't mind these higher minimum deposit limits, because we like that players are offered choice in terms of which version of the bonus they'd like to get.

However, what we are definitely not fond of is having to wager your deposited amount 1x to claim the Free Spins, which is a requirement for this promotion as well! In that vein, there is also a very high wagering requirement for the winnings from the Spins which you can get from the promotion, set to 55x. We discussed how the maximum amount we consider acceptable is 40x, so the limit here is clearly way over the top! Not to mention that it is even higher than the wagering requirements Golden Billy sets for its No deposit bonuses. But at least there are no maximum cash out limits for the promotion, which is great!

Golden Billy's Daily Cashback Bonus

This promotion is described in a pretty different way in the Bonus Terms of the casino and in its promotions page. The latter page claims that the bonus is available every day of the week, while the former states that you can only get it on Tuesday. The percentage of the bonus is said to be 15% in the Bonus Terms of Golden Billy, while its Promotions page advertises it as 20%. That is a bit concerning, but the bonus is pretty decent other than that!

A Cashback offer is a special bonus, which is offered by most houses these days and lets you recover a certain percentage of your gambling losses, up to a maximum that is determined by the online casino. In the case of Golden Billy, you can get 15%, or 20% of said losses, up to $200 per instance of the bonus, added back to your account. These are pretty decent percentages, in our view, so we are not too worried about which of the two is what the bonus actually has to offer.

However, if you are interested in claiming the promotion, you should know that you need to make a deposit to do so, and that said deposit needs to be $30 or more. We would have liked to see a lower entry cost requriement, but what Golden Billy has to offer is fine enough. There is also a 3x wagering requriement to clear if you wish to withdraw the winnings from the Cashback promotion. Normally, these bonuses have way lower wagering requirements than their regular promotional counterparts, set to 3x-5x. We have no notes of the requirement of this particular Cashback offer.

The Friday Reload bonus of Golden Billy 

This promotion was nowhere to be seen in the Bonuses page of the casino, but we found it in the Bonus Terms page of the house. So, it is possible that Golden Billy has either stopped offering that bonus, or that it only becomes available on Fridays, which was not the day during which we were writing the review. That said, we do hope that the promotion is actually available, because it seems quite lucrative!

It offers players up to 50% of their deposited funds, up to a staggering maximum bonus amount of $6000, which we consider to be very impressive. Unfortunately, though, we cannot really say what the minimum deposit requirement to get the bonus is going to be set to. We hope that limit is not too high, because that has been somewhat of a trend with the promotions of Golden Billy we already covered!

Nevertheless, the wagering requriement of the promotion is just 40x, which is great. There are no cash out limits on it either, which we also love. So, overall, it is one of the better promotions of Golden Billy.

Golden Billy's VIP Perks 

There is a Loyalty Program with the gambling house, which aims to reward its most consistent players with unique account perks and privileges. That is the case with the majority of online casinos nowadays, too, but the rewards of Golden Billy are actually quite decent, in our view. Before we get to them, here's what you need to know about the structure of the VIP Perks:

There are nine account levels with the gambling house, with every player starting off at level 1 and working their way towards the higher ranks with the gambling house. It is possible to advance by gathering Comp Points, at a rate of 1 point for every $1 you deposit to the gambling hose. Also, the casino mentions that players who deposit $1000 or more at once are instantly granted a VIP status, but does not make it clear what level they can get by bypassing the ranks system.

The benefits you can get from the VIP program scale with your account level and get better and better the higher the tier of your account gets. For instance, most account levels double your maximum withdrawal limits from the gambling house, which is excellent.

Other account perks include access to a VIP account manager. They can be reached out to if you have issues with the house, acting as a personalized account manager, but there are more perks to the manager, which include them offering you access to even more games and exclusive bonuses.

There are also VIP monthly and weekly bonuses to get as part of the program of the gambling house, as well as level-up bonuses. These bonuses are quite high, and allow you to get up to $2000 at most, from the level 9 reward. Unfortunately, the wagering requirements of these promotions are completely unspecified. Also, Golden Billy is said to offer an additional 20% cashback bonus to its VIP accounts, separate from the other Cashback offer we mentioned.

In conclusion, the VIP program of Golden Billy is definitely rewarding enough, and we do like its inclusion in the bonuses of the house quite a lot. And overall, the promotions of the house are quite decent, even if there are occasionally some questionable aspects to them! But now, let's move to the other aspects of the casino that you should be aware of, and take a look at its regulation:

Golden Billy License

The biggest issue with this casino is the fact that FGS Software Solutions S.R.L., the company which owns it, is not licensed anywhere. Instead, it is registered in Costa Rica, a country which does not really regulate its iGaming market. Here is what Golden Billy offered us in terms of information about its owner:

The fact that Golden Billy's operator is incorporated in a jurisdiction like Costa Rica, and that it does not operate under any further license does not automatically mean it is illegitimate. But there are several very important guarantees about player safety which the online gambling house is not able to provide to its players. Here is what you are missing out on by not playing with licensed houses:

That said, you should know there is a bit of a peculiar clause in the Terms and Conditions of Golden Billy, according to which, the casino will not process any withdrawal unless 3 days or more have passed since the previous withdrawal request has been cleared. This makes it take way longer to cash out than it should!

Finally, there are no withdrawal fees by Golden Billy either. But what we said about the casino having players cover third party charges applies to its withdrawal policies, too, so keep that in mind when playing in the house. Overall, we consider the withdrawal conditions of Golden Billy to be decent overall, though we really disagree with the minimum limit it has imposed on players!

Once again, the amount of Suppliers of Golden Billy is definitely above average, and it is definitely pretty good, but it is not really staggeringly massive. Overall, we are not disappointed with the services of Golden Billy for the most part. True, its withdrawal conditions and some of its bonuses could definitely use some work. But then again, we've seen worse gambling houses out there! However, the reason why we are not going to be recommending you check the house out is the lack of license.
