Golden Alex is a newly launched online casino, but we feel like whoever is operating it needed more time to get the house ready for its premiere. We say “whoever is operating it” because that is not mentioned on the website of Golden Alex – this is an unlicensed gambling house. But, as we were saying, it is also an unfinished gambling house! The deposits page does not seem to work, and nether does the withdrawal one. There are multiple bonuses advertised, but once we made an account, we discovered we did not have access to them.

Besides these pretty massive flaws, the house does not have a lot going on for it. For instance, the list of games one can play is woefully short. There are around 40 Game suppliers, which is under what we would consider the acceptable minimum nowadays. The games which are available are decent by themselves, but we just wished there were more of them.

There is a lot more to talk about with this casino, and we will cover both its positive and its negative aspects in the detail it deserves in the full review below:

Bonuses

Here are the bonuses which the casino advertises:

As we said, though, they are not actually available once you make an account. It is possible we encountered a technical issue with the website, or that the promotions are just not implemented as of yet. Regardless, we believe we should still cover them.

None of the bonuses are particularly innovative, or all that interesting, if we're being honest. They are just generic reload bonuses, and some of their important features are not even outlined properly. For example, the maximum cash bonus amounts are not mentioned at all! So, there's not much reason to cash in with Golden Alex if you are looking for fun and impactful promotions. Here is what the bonuses are:

• There are three Welcome Bonuses, which can be claimed over the course of the first three deposits one makes. However, they are pretty much the same. Each one of them requires you to cash in 30 USDT to obtain. This is too much, as most casinos only need about 20 USDT to award you with a bonus. The bonuses add 100%, 50% and 75% of the first, second and third deposit you make, up to an unknown amount of cash. They also have a decent amount of Free Spins to offer – 100, 100 and 150 for the same initial deposits. The wagering requirement of 30x is on the low side. Such requirements signify how many times you need to turn over a bonus before you can cash it out, and most casinos set them to between 30x and 40x for this kind of promotion. We like these lower requirements, but we should mention that there is no information on whether the house has any kind of cash out limit imposed on the bonuses. So, you might be limited in terms of how much you can withdraw.
• Next, the casino also offers a couple of Weekly Reload Bonuses. These are the Golden Monday, Wednesday and Friday bonuses. Starting off with the first one, it requires the same unreasonable minimum deposit of 30 USDT. As a reward, it offers you 100 Free Spins, with a low 30x wagering requirement. On the other hand, Golden Wednesday adds up to 150 Spins, with a lower minimum deposit requirement of just 10 USDT. Sure, it has a higher wagering requirement of 40x, but it still seems like a better promotion. Finally, the Golden Friday bonus is another cash promotion. However, just like the initial deposit bonuses, its maximum is not listed on the website of the house. All we know about the bonus is that it requires a reasonable 20 USDT minimum deposit, that it adds 50% of the cashed in funds, and that it has a 40x wagering requirement. It seems like a decent enough promotion. In fact, all of these bonuses are generally fine, but we wish the casino had mentioned their cash out limits, and, in the case of the Friday bonus, its maximum amount.
• The third kind of promotion with Golden Alex is the Cashback Bonus. This kind of offer is nothing new, and you can actually find it with most casinos nowadays. And yet, we cannot really say we are all that impressed with it. Sure, the casino lets you recover up to 10% of your losses. But when it has not specified what the maximum amount you can claim is, or over what period of time the losses are counted, there is just not much to be excited about. Furthermore, even though cashback bonuses generally have lower wagering requirements, that is not the case here. You need to wager the promotion 30x instead of the usual 1x-3x. So, overall, we cannot really see why anyone would get excited about the cashback.
• Finally, there is a pretty long-winded VIP Program with Golden Alex, and you can climb no less than seven account ranks. But all of them award you just different bundles of Free Spins – from 20 at the lowest, to 300 at the highest tier. Any one of these packages has a cash out limit of 50 USDT, which makes the bigger ones look pretty unappealing. What's more, the wagering requirement is not mentioned, and we have no clue how one can cash out these bonuses. Overall, this seems like a pretty big misstep. Most casinos can reward their most loyal players with much more appealing promotions than this.

In conclusion, we are not really fond of the bonuses with this casino, which is a shame. One of the best ways online houses have of attracting players is the bonuses they offer. If the bonuses are just not good enough, like with Golden Alex, it has missed a pretty big opportunity to stand out from the rest of the countless online casinos which are available to play in nowadays.

The issues with this house continue in its lack of regulation. As we said at the start, there is just no information about who is running this online casino, or from where. In general, most of the houses you can play in nowadays are licensed in Curacao, which provides you with certain guarantees and protections. There are some stricter jurisdictions like the UK or Malta. But without a license from any of them, Golden Alex cannot guarantee you anything. This does not mean that the casino is necessarily fraudulent, just that it is not competitive. And if you are wondering why it is best to stick with licensed casinos, here is what they can offer you:

The list of payment methods this casino accepts is incredibly short. You can cash in via bank transfers, for one of the FIAT currencies it opens accounts in, or via crypto, if you wish to have a crypto-based account. However, the page which you can use to do so does not seem to work. This means that cashing in is not currently possible with Golden Alex – and also, that we don't really know much about its deposit policies. Here is what we do know, though:

It's worth mentioning that the minimum deposit amounts and the rest of the relevant payment policies should have been listed in the casino's Terms and Conditions, or a separate Payments page. Of course, this half-baked casino does not do that. So we cannot really say how much you need to cash in at the least. However, if you recall the bonuses we mentioned before, the lowest minimum deposit requirement for them was 10 USDT. If that is the minimum deposit, then the house is pretty competitive in this regard. That is on the low end of the range minimum deposits are usually found at.

There should be no deposit fees, though we wish Golden Alex had made that explicitly clear. But with how rare such charges are nowadays, we don't expect the casino to have them. Note that you would still need to cover third party charges, like crypto miner fees and so on. It is pretty annoying that the only two methods of payment Golden Alex has picked, bank transfers and crypto, are the ones with the highest processing fees on average!

Now, let's take a look at the withdrawal conditions of the casino:

Once again, the minimum and maximum amounts you can cash out really should have been mentioned somewhere. Since they are not, we cannot really speculate. However, we hope the minimum withdrawal is 10 USDT, matching what we guess is the minimum deposit. Also, the processing times for withdrawals are hopefully not longer than three days.

All that said, we should mention that there is something about the withdrawal policies of the casino which it does specify. In order to combat money-laundering, the house requires you wager your deposits at least once before cashing out. This is a pretty common clause to find with the majority of casinos these days, and is not really grounds for any concern.

Finally, Golden Alex does not seem to charge inactive account fees, or at least it does not mention doing so.

As we said at the start, we did expect more of them. In general, casinos should feature 50 Suppliers at least, and we expect no less from this one either. Still, with some big names like Pragmatic play in its roster, there are some fine games to play! Here is what those are:

We cannot recommend this casino. As we said, its website just does not really work good enough, its collection of games is shallow and its bonuses are boring.
