GoldBet is a pretty unique casino, in that it generally seems like a good place to play in at first glance, but has a pretty underwhelming set of services once you take a closer look into the house! The first impression it makes is very good, with a polished website, as well as a quick and simple sign-up and deposit processes. Also, there are apps you can download, for IOS and Android devices, which is not really something most online casinos these days provide players with.
However, the more time one spends in GoldBet, the more issues they would discover! For instance, the withdrawals process from the casino has infuriating fees, which is not something we expected to see in 2025 from any online gambling house! What's more, there are simply no Reload bonuses, and what bonuses there are provide players with no information on how they can cash it out. So, if you are interested in playing within GoldBet, you should definitely read up on its downsides beforehand, by checking out the full review of the gambling house below:
GoldBet Bonuses and Promo Codes
First things first, we would like to take a look at the different bonuses which are offered by this online casino. There are currently only Welcome bonuses and a Referral promotion to make use of, as well as the VIP system of the gambling house. That does not really make up for enough variety in our view, but at least there are no extra regional restrictions for the promotions of GoldBet. As long as you are eligible to sign up there, you will also be eligible to claim the bonuses, too!
That said, let's take a look at the outline of the promotions of GoldBet:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
No Deposit bonuses | - | Unspecified | - | - |
Welcome Package | Unspecified | 175% up to $5000 + 200 spins | Unspecified | - |
Highroller Welcome Bonus | $200 | 200% | Unspecified | - |
Crypto First deposit bonus | $30 | 150% | Unspecified | - |
Referral System | - | $25 | Unspecified | - |
VIP Perks | - | Unspecified | - | - |
Now, let's examine these bonuses one by one, in the order that they appear within the table above:
The No deposit bonuses of GoldBet:
No deposit bonuses are some of the most enticing and exciting promotions that you can claim in any online casino. They consist of a small amount of bonus cash and Free Spins, which can be claimed right after you sign up to the gambling house, prior to depositing. That is where the name of the bonus comes from, but it also means that the promotion allows you to play without risking your own money. Not to mention that the majority of No deposit bonuses these days are withdrawable, too.
However, when it comes to No deposit bonuses, GoldBet does not really have any to offer, at least at the time of writing. It is possible that the gambling house will introduce such a promotion in the future, and we certainly hope that it does, because its regular bonuses are incredibly lackluster! So, check back with this review from time to time, as we will be updating it if a No deposit bonus by GoldBet drops. But, in the meantime, let's examine the rest of the promotions of GoldBet:
The Welcome Package of GoldBet
What's curious about this casino is the fact that it only has one type of deposit bonus to offer – the Welcome bonus. On the other hand, it does provide players with a bunch of these offers, including a Welcome Package, as well as a one-time Highroller and Crypto deposit bonuses.
We would first like to examine the Welcome package of the casino. It consists of four Welcome bonuses, which net players up to a total of $5000 and 200 Free Spins. Each of the promotions offers a higher and higher multiplier for bonus funds, too! For instance, the First deposit bonus of the casino has a 100% boost for your deposited funds, the Second – 125%, the Third nets you 150% of your deposited amount and the Fourth bonus is of 175% of that respective deposit. Also, the bundle of 200 Free Spins can be claimed only with the First deposit bonus.
As much as that is a fairly sizeable maximum reward, we don't have any information as to what the maximum bonus amount is for any one of the promotions of GoldBet. And that is where we run into the biggest problem with the promotional policies of the gambling house. There is just not a lot of information on how its bonuses work! For instance, the minimum deposit limit for the Welcome Package is not mentioned anywhere within the website of this casino. Neither is the wagering requriement, for that matter.
Of course, that does not mean there is no wagering requirement, because pretty much every similar promotion nowadays has such a limit to it. Usually, the wagering requirement is set to 30x-40x for similar bonuses. We hope that's the case here, too, though it would have been great to know for sure, and it would have also been great for GoldBet to actually include that information on the bonus offer page for the Welcome Package.
Also, if there is a cash-out limit from the bonus, that has not been specified either, which is another problem in and of itself. All in all, the lack of information about the otherwise pretty massive Welcome Package makes it far less appealing to claim, in our view!
The Highroller Welcome Bonus of GoldBet:
If you wish to get one single bonus instead of a package of them, you could pick the Highroller Welcome offer of the casino while signing up, instead of the default Welcome Package. If you have picked the previous promotion but would like to get this one instead, there's still time, provided you have yet to deposit! You can pick your initial deposit offer again before making said deposit.
That said, we are not sure that anyone would really enjoy the Highroller bonus! That is because there's no information on what the maximum bonus amount you can get from the promotion is. We only know that the minimum deposit amount is set to $200, which is fair, given the fact that it is aimed at highrollers, and that the bonus adds 200% of your deposited funds as extra cash to play with.
Naturally, that is a very high multiplier, but we are not really sure we can recommend the bonus, because its wagering requriement is also not known. Once again, that amount is usually around 30x-40x for similar bonuses, but there is just no way for us to confirm that, without any explicit confirmation from the gambling house.
Also, we would not be surprised if the promotion had a cash out limit, too, though there's simply no information on what said limit is either. All in all, we cannot say we are impressed by this bonus either.
The Crypto First deposit bonus of GoldBet:
The final First deposit offer from the casino is exclusively available to players who wish to cash in via cryptocurrencies. Once again, if you want this bonus, you need to select it while making your account, or before placing your first deposit.
The promotion has a $30 minimum deposit limit, which is a bit higher than the average of $20, but not by too much. More importantly, it nets players 150% of whatever they cash in to the gambling house as bonus funds. Unfortunately, the maximum bonus limit is once again not specified by the gambling house. Also, that's the case with the wagering requriement, too. We just hope that said requriement is set to 30x-40x, as we mentioned. Additionally, there's no mention of what the maximum withdrawal limit from the bonus is, if there is even such a restriction to it, but you've probably come to expect so from GoldBet at this point!
All in all, it might be a better idea to claim the Welcome Bonus package than this promotion! The odds of it offering a higher amount of money than all four of the bonuses of the said package are pretty low, and its multiplier is equal to the Third Deposit bonus, while being lower than the one of the Fourth deposit bonus.
The Referral System of GoldBet
There are no Reload bonuses with the casino, and it claims that they are “coming soon”, but the house has been online for a couple of months now and is no closer to launching them. So, the only way for players to get extra bonus funds is to participate in the Referral system of the gambling house.
To participate in it, you need to invite players to join the casino with your unique referral code. That code should be used by them when signing up, and they also need to deposit $10 or more for you to get your Referral bonus. That bonus consists of a one-time $25 cash offer, as well as the ability to get a bonus equal to 20% of the money that player loses in the casino from there on as a special commission bonus.
This all sounds pretty good, but you should take into account the fact that the gambling house does not specify the conditions for withdrawing the bonus at all. There is no mention of a wagering requirement to complete for the $25 cash offer, or for the commission you get from your referrals losses. Also, there is probably a maximum cash out limit to them, too, but we would not like to speculate too much about what that is!
The VIP Perks of GoldBet:
Just as most online gambling houses these days, there is a set of VIP perks that you can claim with GoldBet, if you stick long enough to the casino and play enough there. At first glance, the VIP system of GoldBet is very convoluted, so we'd like to try and explain how it works:
First things first, every account with the casino has a level to it. There are 200 levels in total, and you can increase your own by wagering more and more money within the gambling house. Every five levels you gain a Rank, and there are four Ranks in total, each of them having five different sub-ranks to them. That means your account's rank can be Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum, and the sub-ranks are Bronze I-V, Silver I-V and so on. Just as the levels, the ranks can be earned by playing more and more within the casino.
The rewards for levelling up your account are only limited to increasing it in rank, but the perks that you earn at each rank are pretty decent. Here is a breakdown of what they are:
- Bronze Account perks: By reaching the Bronze account tier, you can participate in the Referral program of the casino, as well as get a 4-6% Cashback bonus on your loses. Finally, the casino claims that you can get a faster withdrawal processing than other, non VIP players, but does not give us any specifics on how much faster that is!
- Silver Account perks: In addition to the previous perks, by reaching the Silver account tier, you can get a $450 level-up bonus. The casino also claims that it offers you access to a monthly bonus, but there's no information on what that is. Your cashback percentage is also improved to 8-10%, and so is the referral commission, to 25%. The casino promises a 150% deposit bonus, too, as well as lower wagering requirement. Also, it reduces your withdrawal fees by 25%.
- Gold Account Perks: The previous perks are retained, and Gold players also get access to a VIP account manager, as well as a further reduction in withdrawal fees, down to 50% of what they originally are. There is a $500 level up reward, as well as a Recurring Weekly bonus to claim, with the latter not having any information on whether it's withdrawable or not. Furthermore, the casino's cashback offer is improved to 12%, and you can get a special birthday bonus, too.
- Platinum Account Perks: Levelling up to Platinum means you will not be charged any withdrawal fees, and that you will get a $1800 bonus for levelling up. There is also said to be a 14% Cashback bonus, another improvement for the promotion, as well as special, tailor-made bonuses. The previous account privileges are retained for this bonus, too, such as the birthday bonuses and the weekly and monthly reload offers.
As you can see, the VIP perks of GoldBet are actually pretty deep, and we can even say that they are pretty rewarding too. But they do not make for a good substitute for Reload bonuses at all! Also, there's no reason for the casino's system to be so contrived, with both levels and ranks.
GoldBet License
GoldBet is a regulated online casino, but you would be forgiven for thinking it was operating under a fake license. On its website, the casino claims to be run by some company, called Goldkey Technologies Limitada, which is registered in Costa Rica and operates under an Anjouan Gaming Authority license. The, GoldBet also has the following document on its website to prove that:
Now, that license looks to be very obviously fake, with different fonts for the seal on top of the document and a signature which does not seem to belong to the same document. Not to mention that casinos that are licensed by Anjouan Gaming typically have a Digital seal on their website, which simply takes players to the register of the Authority, where they could verify the regulatory status of the casino.
By this point, we seriously thought that GoldBet was run under a fake license! But we did check with the register of the regulatory body, which can be found on its website. And sure enough, the operator of the casino and its domains were listed among the Anjouan Gaming license holders, as you can see from the following screenshot:
This whole situation was very perplexing, but, at the end of the day, there is undeniable proof that GoldBet is licensed. We just don't see why the house had to use that shady document to prove that, instead of the much better digital seal technology!
That said, we are pretty happy with the regulatory background of the gambling house. Anjouan Gaming is the iGaming oversight body of Anjouan, an island within the Comoros Union. It has become quite the destination for casinos recently, and offers access to the following protections for their players:
- RNG testing requirements: Every game you play in an Anjouan-licensed online casino has to have undergone extensive RNG-testing, in order for it to be offered to players. That means you can always be sure you are playing actual, unbiased games of chance!
- Responsible gambling tools: There are not as many responsible gambling tools that casinos in Anjouan need to implement, but players can still self-exclude by closing down their accounts.
Even if other license issuers like the Curacao Gaming Control Board, the Malta Gaming Authority and so on are stricter, we like that GoldBet is an Anjouan-licensed casino, because that's better than the house not being regulated by anyone!
That said, let's get back to our review. Here is a list of the languages the casino's website can be viewed in:
Languages: English, Spanish, French, Russian, Turkish, Portuguese, German, Chinese, Hungarian, Polish
Compared to other gambling houses, this is a much higher range of languages to pick from than what we expected, which is great. It shows that GoldBet is open to providing its services to a broad range of players from all over the world. That said, there are also a couple of countries from where you will not be eligible to sign up to GoldBet. Here is a list of these Restricted countries:
Restricted countries: Australia, Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom, Show All, Afghanistan, American Samoa, Aruba, Belarus, Cuba, Curaçao, Cyprus, Ethiopia, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, French Southern Lands, Guam, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Korea, North, Laos, Lebanon, Libya, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Myanmar, Netherlands Antilles, Palestine, Portugal, Russian Federation, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Syria, Ukraine, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands, U.S.
GoldBet Deposit and Withdrawal
The payment policies of GoldBet include its deposit and withdrawal conditions. We will be looking at both of them thoroughly within the current section of our review, but let's just say that, while the deposit policies of GoldBet are generally quite agreeable, the same cannot be said about its withdrawal conditions! But, let's not get ahead of ourselves, and start with the deposit conditions of GoldBet:
The deposit policies of GoldBet:
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Credit/Debit Card | $5 | $2000 | Instant | Free |
Interac | $7 | $500 | Instant | Free |
Bank | $7 | $450 | Instant | Free |
Apple Pay | $1 | $1000 | Instant | Free |
Google Pay | $1 | $1000 | Instant | Free |
Crypto | $1 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
Currencies: US Dollar (USD), Euro (EUR), Australian Dollar (AUD), Brazilian Real (BRL), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Indian Rupee (INR), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), Polish zloty (PLN), Swiss Franc (CHF), Turkish Lira (TRY), Cardano (ADA), Litecoin (LTC), Tether (USDT), XRP
First things first, the casino accepts a surprising amount of different FIAT currencies, and also allows you to deposit via a pretty good range of payment methods. These include credit cards, local payment methods like Interac for Canadian players, several local bank transfer options, Apple and Google Pay as well as various cryptocurrencies.
What's more, the minimum deposit limit for the casino is actually very low, with it being between $1-$7 for the different deposit methods that are accepted. Generally speaking, most casinos tend to set such limits to $10-20 at least these days.
There are no fees for having your deposits processed by GoldBet, though you will be required to pay any third party withdrawal charges. These can be banking fees, or crypto miner fees, and pretty much any online gambling house these days would expect you to cover them as well.
So, overall, the gambling house has some pretty good conditions when it comes to deposits, as we said. We also mention the withdrawal policies of GoldBet being bad, too, so let's take a look at them now:
The withdrawal conditions of GoldBet
Before we get to the cash-out policies of GoldBet, you should know that there is a 1x deposit wagering requriement you need to clear before withdrawing. Notably, this is actually a fairly common type of requriement, with the majority of online casinos nowadays needing you to have wagered a volume of money equal to or higher than 1x-3x the amount you have deposited to the house in total.
This is done in order to help combat money laundering, and we don't have anything against such policies in general. It is important to meet these requirements, too, because failing to do so will lead to your account being charged with a penalty fee, or to your withdrawal being cancelled. In the case of GoldBet, the latter is what will happen if you don't wager your funds enough times. With that in mind, here's how you can cash out from the house:
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Credit/Debit Card | $1 | $1900 | up to 5 days | 4% Fee! |
Crypto | $3 | Unspecified | up to 5 days | 25 Fee! |
We don't see why the same massive range of payment methods that was available for depositing to GoldBet is not present when it comes to withdrawing from the house! Instead, players are limited to cashing out via credit cards and crypto.
What's more, there is a withdrawal fee of 4% of the amount you are trying to cash out via credit card and a 2% cash out fee for crypto. To be clear, these are charges by the casino itself and not third party processing fees. You will have to pay those as well, on top of the fees by GoldBet! And yes, you can get rid of these fees by participating in the VIP program of the house, but there should not have been any such charges in the first place.
The whole idea of casinos charging their players fees for processing their payments is hopelessly outdated nowadays. That is why we are so opposed to the ones here, even if they are rather small!
That said, the minimum withdrawal amount is excellent. It has been set to $1 for credit cards and $3 for crypto, while most other casinos would expect you to cash out $10-20. The maximum withdrawal per transaction is $1900 for credit cards, which is good enough, too. However, there's no mention of the maximum crypto withdrawal limit at all.
Finally, the processing times for the withdrawals from the casino are not great. The house claims that it can take up to 3 days to process cash-out requests, but most of its peers need up to 3 days to do so at most. All in all, the payment policies of GoldBet have attractive minimums and maximums you can cash in or out, but are still subpar in general!
GoldBet Games and Game Suppliers
Finally, we would like to go over one of the most important aspects of the services of any online gambling house – the list of Games you can play within it, and the Suppliers that are featured within its library.
When it comes to its Games, GoldBet offers a bit over 7500 of them in total, by more than 100 Suppliers. Considering the average online casino these days has around 50 Suppliers or so, that's actually a pretty significant step up! Here is a list of who these suppliers that GoldBet has partnered with are:
Game providers: Endorphina, 5 Men, Fugaso, Smartsoft Gaming, Mascot, Gamebeat, OneTouch, Spinomenal, Booming Games, Merkur, Swintt, Zillion, Bulletproof, Mancala, TrueLab, Popiplay, Fantasma, Amatic, Spade Gaming, Hacksaw, Slotmill, Gamevy, Yggdrasil, Amigo Gaming, Reflex Gaming, Playson, Boomerang Studios, KA Gaming, 1spin4win, PragmaticPlay, Kalamba, Turbogames, 1x2gaming, Thunderkick, BGaming, Reevo, NetEnt, Quickspin, Gamzix, AvatarUX, PGSoft, Vibra Gaming, Mr Slotty, Wazdan, MPlay, Bang Bang Games, Nolimit City, Orbital Gaming, Platipus, Triple Cherry, Evolution, Onlyplay, Belatra, Reel Life Games, Betsolutions, Habanero, Blueprint, Tom Horn, Petersons, Other
What stood out to us about these Suppliers, aside from the sheer size of the list of them, is the fact that there are plenty of popular casino software makers to pick from. Among them are the likes of PragmaticPlay, Evolution Gaming and Kalamba. Read on to discover what kinds of games are available within the casino by them, as well as some of the more popular titles, or types of game, within each genre of casino game within GoldBet:
- Slots: Big Bass Bonanza, Book of Dead, Wolf's Gold
- Table Games: Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack, Roulettes
- Live Games: Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack, Roulettes
- Game Shows: Crazy Time, Gonzo's Treasure Hunt, Crazy Coin Flip
- Crash Games: Aviator, Mines, Plinko, Big Bass Crash
- Other Games: Scratch Cards and Fishing Games, Keno
Conclusion
The reason why we are not going to recommend this casino is the lackluster bonuses policies and the withdrawal conditions of the house. Both of them are even more disappointing because of the rather decent regulatory background of the house and its great collection of games. But, at the end of the day, there is much more to an online casino than what you can play within it, and its regulatory background. If you are looking for a better experience gambling online, there are plenty of places where you can get just that! Don't hesitate to check out the rest of our reviews to find them:
