Europe’s Revolut Launches in the US
Revolut, the European financial technology startup, has recently landed on American soil, offering it's app services to US citizens, and partnering with the New York Metropolitan Commercial Bank.
Recently, a statement to Revolut clients read:
American users will also be able to utilise Revolut's US stock trading option without concerning themselves with inactivity fees.
The app offers a financial hub allowing their ever rising clientele (10 million and counting) to send, receive, spend, and manage money in an easy and user friendly way. Customers from the US will be opening an account with a Mastercard in a matter of minutes. Clients will be delighted to know that all accounts are insured for up to $250k by Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
One of Revolut's key features, sees interbank currency conversion to be free of charge. This opens the door to many customers holding foreign currencies who are able to send money from one account to another outside their country of origin and be exempt of any transfer charges.
