Destino
Table of contents
Destino is an online house and sportsbook which makes a pretty positive first impression. When you see its website for the first time, you will land on the vast amount of Sports you can wager on. Selecting the “casino” tab on its website leads you to a well-organized library of thousands of Slots. There are also virtual sports and Table games to bet on.
Signing up with the house was also a fairly pleasant experience. It is possible to create an account within minutes, and then you can cash in. That is done via a decent amount of payment methods, the minimum deposit requirements for which are quite low.
However, there are also some issues with the house. The bonuses one can get with it have a very unusual condition to nearly all of them, which you need to comply with in order to obtain the promotions. And there is also a restriction on how much you can win within a day. Perhaps the biggest issue, though, is that you are subject to a specific maximum win amount.
So, is Destino a good place to bet or not? Well, in order to be able to answer this question, we need to go over everything the house has to offer. So, let's do just that, starting off with its bonuses:
Bonuses
As you will see below, there is a pretty massive amount of promotions available with the casino. From two different Welcome bonuses, to Recurring promotions, there is a lot to cover. Here is an outline of all of them:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
Casino First Deposit Bonus | €10 | 100% up to €500 | 35x | Unspecified |
Casino Second Deposit Bonus | €10 | 120% up to €600 | 35x | Unspecified |
Casino Third Deposit Bonus | €10 | 150% up to €750 | 35x | Unspecified |
Sports First Deposit Bonus | €10 | 100% up to €100 | 5x | Unspecified |
Sports Second Deposit Bonus | €10 | 120% up to €100 | 5x | Unspecified |
Thursday Reload Bonus | €10 | 50% up to €150 | 25x | Unspecified |
Weekend Reload Bonus | €10 | 50% up to €150 | 5x | Unspecified |
Weekly Cashbacks | - | 10% up to €500 | 1x | Unspecified |
Accumulator Boost | - | 70% | - | - |
But before we cover each of the promotions, we should mention the unusual condition associated with the ones which require you to deposit. The casino needs you to cash in a specific amount of money to obtain the promotion, then wager whatever you have deposited at least once. Then, you are supposed to keep playing until your account balance is €1 or lower, meaning you need to lose all of your funds to claim the bonus.
That is something we are seeing for the first time with Destino! The policy is incredibly unusual, and downright weird. We cannot think of a single reason why it should be in play with the casino. Keep it in mind as we examine the different bonuses, starting off with the two Welcome Packages:
The Casino Welcome Package consists of three bonuses, which each award you a pretty significant amount of money. It can be claimed over the course of the initial three deposits you make, with a minimum requirement of €10 for each of them. We generally expect to see higher minimum deposit requirements, around €20. So, we were pleasantly surprised by the ones here. Additionally, the wagering requirement for the bonuses is decent, as it has been set to 35x. If you are not sure what that means, a wagering requirement is a common part of the bonus conditions of any house these days. It represents an amount of times you need to play through a bonus to withdraw it. Usually, such requirements are set to 30x to 40x, which places Destino right down the middle when it comes to them. There is no cash out limit either, which is great.
That said, let's take a look at each of the different Welcome Bonuses:
- The Casino First Deposit Bonus comes with a 100% multiplier for the respective deposit, and a maximum bonus of €500. This makes it a fairly sizeable promotions all things considered!
- After you have claimed the previous promotion, you will have access to the Second Deposit bonus. It adds an even bigger percentage of your funds as bonus cash, up to an even bigger maximum – 120% up to €600.
- Destino saves the best for last with its Third Deposit Bonus. This is a promotion which grants the player 150% of whatever they cash in, up to a maximum of €750.
All in all, this is a great package of Welcome bonuses. Now, let's take a look at their alternative – the Sports Welcome Package. It is made up of just two bonuses, and they have the same minimum deposit requirement. A crucial difference between the two packages, though, is the wagering requirements. Here, you just need to play through the funds 5x to be able to withdraw them. However, only bets on games with odds of 1.5 of more will count towards that. That is usually the case with sports bonuses. They have lower wagering requirements, but specific odds, under which you will not be contributing to said requirement!
Here is what each of the two promotions looks like:
- Initially, you can claim the Sports First Deposit Bonus. This promotion comes with a 100% boost for your funds, up to €100.
- Next, the Sports Second Deposit Bonus is even more generous. It grants you 120% of the cashed in funds, up to a maximum of €120.
There are also a significant amount of Recurring promotions with this casino, which we would now like to cover. These can be claimed up to once per week, on the specific day, or days, when they are available:
- The Thursday Reload Bonus is the premier way for casino players to get some extra bonus cash. It is available during the day indicated in the name of the promotion, for any deposit over €10. As for what the promotion grants you, that is 50% of said deposit, up to the maximum of €150. There is a lower, 25x wagering requirement to these funds, which is under what we tend to commonly see. Overall, this is a simple, yet rewarding bonus.
- A similar promotion is available on Saturdays and Sundays, called the Weekly Reload Bonus. This time, the promotion offers you some extra cash for Sports betting. It has the same minimum deposit and is once again calculated as 50% of the cashed in funds up to €150. However, the wagering requirement is 5x, and it can be completed by betting only on games with odds of 1.5 or more.
- Two separate Cashback Bonuses are available. Each can be claimed during the weekend, and each is made up of 10% of the weekly losses of the player. The difference between the two is that one bonus covers the losses from the Sportsbook, while the other recovers ones from Casino games. Other than that, the conditions of the bonuses are the same. You need to wager them once to cash out, on any game. There is a minimum bonus amount of €10 and a maximum of €500 you can get with each per, per week. This is a very generous cashback incentive overall!
- Finally, there is also the Accumulator Boost. This is a very common type of promotion which is nevertheless beloved by Sports fans. It allows them to get rewarded for placing multibets. Here is how that works with Destino: Place several bets in a multibet slip and if a minimum of three of them are correct, you will get an 8% bonus to your winnings. The more bets you win, the bigger the bonus percentage, up to a maximum of 70% at 15 correct bets. Please note that only wagers on games with odds of 1.5 or more will count towards that bonus. There are no restrictions to cashing out your winnings, and no wagering requirements to clear!
License
We are happy to report that Destino is a licensed casino. It is always better to deal with such houses than their unregulated counterparts! What's more, the license under which Destino runs has been issued by Gaming Curacao (GC), which is one of the most popular destinations for casino operators to obtain their licenses nowadays. Here is what the house has to say about its regulation:
How can we know that it is actually regulated as it claims? Well, one needs simply click on the Gaming Curacao logo, visible in the screenshot above. This logo is actually a Digital Seal, which is required to be implemented on the website of any licensed casino. The Seal is a link to the page in the register of the license issuers for the casino, which you can see here:
After we have verified the license that way, there was no doubt about the legitimacy of Destino! What's more, there is no doubt that the casino will be able to offer you all of the protections you might expect to have access to with a Curacao licensed house. Here is what they are, and why they are important:
- First and foremost, there are strict review requirements for the games of each casino. They need to be audited in such a way as to make foul play impossible. Each game you can play nowadays uses a random number generator to determine the outcomes of bets. That is what is getting audited, and the independent professionals, picked by the regulator are able to track how much each slot, table game and so on pays out. If there are any differences between the amount of times you are supposed to win and the one you actually win, these are easily found out. As you can imagine, it is important to play actual games of chance at your favorite casino!
- Secondly, players' safety is always a top priority for regulators. That is why they make casinos offer a wealth of information about wat gambling addiction looks like and where you could seek help. That's not all, however, and casinos need to also provide you with certain self-exclusion measures. These are custom deposit limits you could set, time out warnings to opt in to and so on.
- Thirdly, the safety of the player also extends to their data. Any information you submit to the casino needs to be encrypted. Since houses collect all sorts of documents about you – copies of your ID, address and so on, it is crucial for that sensitive info to be protected. Of course, it is necessary to submit these documents in order for casinos to combat money laundering. However, it is also important to ensure they stay out of the hands of hackers. Playing with a licensed house means just that!
These are just some of the protections that are available to you if you stick to regulated casinos. Back to our review of Destino, however, here are the language options for its website:
Languages: English, German, Greek, Spanish, Turkish, Dutch
We consider that to be a pretty good amount of localizations, and like how accessible the website is for any player. However, we should also mention there are certain countries from where signing up will not be possible. Here is a list of those countries:
Restricted countries: Australia, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Show All, American Samoa, Aruba, Austria, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, Curaçao, France, Iran, Iraq, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Spain, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands, U.S.
Deposit and Withdrawal
Cashing in to the casino is possible with credit cards and several popular e-wallets. Let's take a look at these, and the single account currency you can deposit in:
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Credit/Debit Card | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
PayPal | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
Skrill | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
MiFinity | €10 | €2500 | Instant | Free |
Jeton | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
Currencies: Euro (EUR)
The Euro being the only currency to cash in is slightly disappointing. Depositing from an account in another FIAT currency will mean you need to worry about exchange rates and conversion fees. To avoid that, casinos open accounts in several currencies.
Other than that small issue, the conditions around depositing are pretty great. We should mention that the minimum of €10 is lower than the amount players are usually required to cash in. There are no fees by the casino either, only third party charges by the payment providers will need to be considered by the player. Note that such charges are commonly paid by you with any casino out there.
Now, let's examine the withdrawals policy of Destino:
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Credit/Debit Card | Unspecified | €10000 | up to 48 hours | Free |
PayPal | Unspecified | €10000 | up to 48 hours | Free |
Skrill | Unspecified | €10000 | up to 48 hours | Free |
MiFinity | Unspecified | €10000 | up to 48 hours | Free |
Jeton | Unspecified | €10000 | up to 48 hours | Free |
Note that before you can cash out, you need to wager your funds at least two times. That is a common AML measure, which you will find in the Terms and Conditions of the majority of today's casinos. As for the minimum withdrawal amount, that is not specified. We are not fond of this at all! In general, the minimum amounts you can cash out are between €10 and €20. Hopefully, the one here is within these bounds as well. As for the maximum withdrawal, this is set to €10 000 per day, or €50 000 per month. Both of these are fairly high amounts.
The processing times for withdrawals are quite fast, up to two days. There are no fees by the casino either, but what we mentioned about third party charges applies here as well. There does not seem to be any fee for inactivity either. However, there is the restriction on your maximum wins we mentioned before. Here is what that is:
Any such restriction is problematic in our view, because it goes against the point of playing games of chance in the first place, that being, testing how lucky you are! No matter the fact that the size of said restriction is pretty big at €100 000 per day, we find it to be unfair. If a player wins a jackpot, they are usually paid out in full, albeit in several installments.
Games and Game Suppliers
Here is a list of the Game Suppliers with the caisno:
Game providers: PragmaticPlay, NetEnt, Spribe, Microgaming, Playson, Funky Games, Hacksaw, Red Tiger Gaming, Big Time Gaming, KA Gaming, Amatic, Skywind, Betsoft, Booming Games, EGT Interactiv, Wazdan, Booongo, Evoplay, GameArt, Habanero, Platipus, Red Rake, Tom Horn, 7Mojos, Onlyplay, Endorphina, Leander, BetGames.tv, Spade Gaming, BGaming, Betsolutions, Caleta, Belatra, Eyecon, Gamevy, Gamzix, PGSoft, Crazy Tooth Studio, Kalamba, Other
We counted around 50 of them in total, which is about as much as we expected to see. This means the library of games Destino has to offer is pretty vast. Here's what you can play:
- Slots: What we like about the Slots is that they are separated in their own thematic categories. If you want to play slots about Ancient Egypt, you will be able to filter them out. The same is true about slots about Greek Gods, Vikings, Summer slots, Book slots and so on. Among the games you can play, you will find recognizable titles like Gates of Olympus, Big Bass Bonanza, Elvis Frog, Book of Dead, Wolf's Gold, Mustang Gold and so on.
- Table Games: This casino has an excellent collection of live dealer table game classics like Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack and Roulettes. However, there does not seem to be a single virtual dealer table for any of them, which is a weird misstep.
- Game Shows: The entire Game Show roster of Evolution Gaming is available here, with titles like Boom City, Crazy Time, Gonzo's Treasure Hunt, Cash or Crash and Crazy Coin Flip.
- Crash Games: In the Casino tab, you can find Aviator and a couple of these fast-paced high-ante games.
When it comes to Sports betting, we were quite pleased with the sheer variety of markets available. Prematch betting is accepted for anything from major games like Football to smaller and more niche sports like Lacrosse. eSports like SC:II, DotA II and so on are among the list of available options here too. The In Play section of the sportsbook reflects games you can bet on live, from some of the bigger games we mentioned. The Virtuals tab allows you to bet on simulated Football games. Sadly, there are no virtual Horse and Hound races.
Conclusion
Overall, Destino is a great casino and sportsbook, which is held back by a couple of issues with its services. First off, we don't like the unusual requriement to lose the money from each deposit to be able to get a bonus. Secondly, we would like the house to offer more currency options and payment methods. Thirdly, it should really list its minimum withdrawal requirements! As it stands, there are better options out there, and we cannot recommend Destino over them!
