BetBolt
Table of contents
BetBolt is a mobile-only online casino. Its website has not been optimized for desktop devices at all, it seems! In general there is nothing wrong with catering to casino players who prefer to deal with houses from their mobile devices. You are probably reading this current article on your phone after all! However, the issue here is not so much about what kind of devices the casino was made to run on.
Instead, the real problem with the house not being optimized for desktop PCs comes from the fact that it shows that the people behind it hardly care about players who access their website from there. When we first stumbled on the website of the casino, we thought this lack of care was indicative of the overall quality of the services of the house just not being all that high.
And that turned out to be the case, too. First and foremost, the casino was not licensed whatsoever. Additionally, we fount out that whoever is running the house is more than content with not revealing who they are, where they work from and so on. Overall, this does not automatically mean the house is fraudulent, but it does showcase a lack of transparency with it which we are not fans of.
Then, the services of the casino turned out to be very bad. For instance, its bonuses have barely any information on how they work. The payment choices were exceptionally limited, too. And the sportsbook this casino features was incredibly shallow. So much so, that we aren't sure it's even worth mentioning!
If you are interested in playing at this casino, we would like to strongly discourage you from doing so! Whichever way you look at it, the house just does not have what it takes to provide players with a safe or a competitive level of service. So, we recommend staying away from it. But if you are still curious about the house, please read on, as we expose everything wrong with BetBolt!
Bonuses
Here's a full list of the promotions which are available with BetBolt at the time of writing:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
Greeting Gift | - | 15 INR | Unspecified | Unspecified |
First Deposit Bonus | - | 300% up to 25000 INR | Unspecified | Unspecified |
Second Deposit Bonus | - | 100% | Unspecified | Unspecified |
Freebet Bonus | - | 500 INR | Unspecified | Unspecified |
Referral Bonus | - | 25% | - | - |
First off, we would like to point out that this is a very limited amount of bonuses. Most casinos nowadays manage to offer way more to their players in terms of promotions. However, if you are wondering how that stacks up to other houses, we should mention that they generally tend to offer more in terms of their bonuses. We mean that in terms of the amount of the promotions. The house barely has any Recurring bonuses, for instance!
But the real issue with all of these bonuses actually has to do with the fact that the casino does not actually outline the Terms and Conditions of each of them in sufficient detail. This means that crucial aspects of the bonuses like how much you need to cash in to get each of them, or whether you can cash them out are completely unknown.
Bonuses are usually withdrawable, though, provided that the player manages to clear a certain Wagering requirement. Said requirement means wagering the bonus a specific amount of times. We would be very surprised if BetBolt does not have such a requirement in place, too! But the casino mentions nothing about it. Similarly, whether there's a cash out limit is up to anyone's guess.
Still, let's take a look at what we do know about the casino's promotions:
- There is a Greeting Gift BetBolt offers to players who have just signed up. This is a No Deposit bonus, of 15 INR. The promotion can be received only once per account, and there does not seem to be a restriction on what you can play with it. That said, the bonus has a comparatively low size. Once again, we cannot know if the promotion is withdrawable, but given the fact that it is a No Deposit Bonus, it could not be. If it turns out the bonus can be withdrawn, you can generally expect there to be a high wagering requirement, due to the lack of a player deposit. Usually, such promotions need to be turned over 60x to 80x.
- If you decide to deposit to the casino, you can get two Welcome Bonuses. Both of them are rather large boosts for the amount of cash you entrust the casino with. The First Deposit bonus grants you 300% of the respective deposit, up to 25 000 INR. But once again, what the minimum deposit requirement for the bonus is, or whether you can cash the promotion out, is up to anyone's guess! The casino has nothing to say about either of these important topics. We expect the bonus to be withdrawable, with a wagering requirement of 40x at most. If you have claimed the promotion, please leave a comment about whether we were correct!
- The Second Deposit Bonus does not have its minimum deposit listed either. But this time, the casino spices things up by not mentioning what the maximum bonus amount is! All we know about the bonus is that it gives you 100% of the funds you cash in as promotional cash. We expect the same wagering and cash out conditions to apply to the bonus, as we did with the previous promotion.
Overall, we were unimpressed with the Welcome bonuses, on account of them not having their conditions outlined clearly enough. What we also found off-putting was the fact that the promotions are just not all that generous at all. There are no Free Spins and the multiplier on the second bonus is nothing to write home about. Even the No Deposit bonus was bad, because of its rather low size and the complete lack of clarity about its conditions.
Usually, casinos will offer many Recurring Bonuses, too. These are promotions you can claim an unlimited amount of times, which keep players coming back. But, once again, BetBolt does not manage to live up to our expectations. There are just two bonuses with it, which all have the issues we mentioned so far. Here is what you need to know about each of them:
- The Monthly Freebet Bonus offers you a 500 INR Freebet voucher. A Freebet voucher can be used in the sportsbook of a casino, and works in a fairly simple way: Any losing bet is settled from the voucher before the player's funds themselves. This is an insurance against losses, of a kind. Back to BetBolt's voucher in particular, the size it has is very small. There is also the issue of the casino not mentioning how you can get the voucher. Is it a promotion that you can earn by depositing, or is it one which the casino hands out every month? Not to mention that there's no information about whether the voucher is withdrawable.
- The last promotion with the casino is the Referral Bonus. This is probably the worst in a long list of bad and opaque promotions with the house. It does not mention anything on its bonus page. Only the name of the bonus and the slogan “earn 25% of what they spend” are visible there. So how does the bonus work? Well, once you have an account with the casino, it makes you a Referral link, which you can use to introduce your friends to the casino. It seems that once they “spend” the house gives you that 25% cut. We don't believe the promotion gives you a quarter of every deposit your referrals make, though. That would be too much. Instead, it is far more likely that it only counts their losses. Nevertheless, without know how much you can earn and whether you can cash it out, the bonus is pretty unappealing in our view!
License
Another huge issue with the casino is that the people running it are completely anonymous. That is to say, there is not as much as a single paragraph on the casino's website about who operates it or from where. Not to mention whether it's licensed by anyone. Of course, this means that the house simply lacks regulation.
As we said at the start of our review, this does not automatically mean that the house is fraudulent. However, it does mean that the casino cannot provide its players with the guarantees for their safety and the protections they would be able to get in other, more strictly regulated jurisdictions.
Of course the specific protections you can expect from casino to casino vary, and are generally mostly based on the rules of each regulatory jurisidictions. But here are a couple of policies that all of them have in common:
- Data safety regulation: The casinos you play at collect a lot of personal information. That is true for both licensed and unlicensed houses. To give an example with the house we are currently covering, it requires that you submit your phone number, as well as a variety of payment information. Regulated casinos are required to encrypt all of this sensitive info, in order to make sure that data leaks or hackers breaching the data banks of the casino is a very rare occurence.
- Protections against problem gambling: Responsible gambling is always a focus of regulatory bodies. Casinos licensed under them need to promote it by offering their players a wealth of information on what problem gambling can look like, as well as where they could seek help if they need it. They also need to offer you self exclusion options. For instance, you can set custom limits on how much you can deposit within any given month. You can even close down your account, should you deem it necessary!
- RNG Testing, provably fair games: Every game you can play in any online casino has been developed by someone. The difference is that the games which are offered by licensed casinos are sourced by tested developers. This means they pay out as much as they are supposed to, and are actual games of chance.
Overall, we would have been happier if the casino were licensed. But let's get back to our review, with a list of the languages the website of the house is available in, as well as the countries from where players cannot sign up
Languages: English, Hindi
Restricted countries: Australia, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, United Kingdom, Show All, Afghanistan, Algeria, American Samoa, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Cuba, Cyprus, Denmark, Ethiopia, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, French Southern Lands, Gibraltar, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Korea, North, Laos, Malta, Myanmar, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Saint Martin (French part), Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sudan, Syria, Turkey, Uganda, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands, U.S., Yemen
Deposit and Withdrawal
It will probably come as little surprise, but the payment policies of the house are pretty bad. The only way to cash in is via GooglePay or PayByPhone methods like WhatsApp. Let's take a look at the conditions of the deposit methods and the currencies you can use:
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Google Pay | 100 INR | 100000 INR | Instant | Free |
Currencies: Indian Rupee (INR)
100 INR is a really low asking price for a casino nowadays. And the maximum deposit is fair enough too. There is no mention of any deposit fees and we don't believe the casino charges them. But if there are any third party charges, you would be liable to pay them. This is pretty much how the majority of online casinos nowadays handle such charges.
Now, let's examine the withdrawal policies:
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Google Pay | Unspecified | Unspecified | up to 3 days | Free |
First and foremost, we should mention that you are required to actually wager the funds you have deposited with the casino at least once before withdrawing. This is a very common AML policy that you should generally expect with casinos.
What's actually problematic here is that the house does not list its withdrawal conditions whatsoever. This means we are left in the dark as to what they are. No mention is made of the minimum withdrawal amount, nor how much you can cash out at the most. We do know that the processing times for withdrawals are said to be three days at most. This is a fair enough amount, but it should be mentioned that there are plenty of casinos that can do better nowadays.
There are no fees for cashing out either. However, you should know that you would also be liable to pay the third party charges for withdrawals, if there are any. The only fee by BetBolt is the following:
This is a penalty for inactive accounts which is all too common nowadays. Neither the fee nor its size are actually problematic in our view!
Games and Game Suppliers
Nowadays, there is a certain expectation we have of the online casinos we cover: that they will launch with the titles of at least 50 Game suppliers or so. That might sound like a bit much, but most of the casinos we cover are generally able to meet this expectation handily.
This is not the case here. Here is who the games of BetBolt are sourced by:
Game providers: Evolution, OneTouch, NetEnt, Ezugi, PGSoft, Red Tiger Gaming, Caleta, Push Gaming, Wazdan, Spade Gaming, Hacksaw, Nolimit City, BetGames.tv, Relax Gaming, Big Time Gaming, Evoplay, Spribe, Gamzix, Turbogames, Onlyplay, AvatarUX, 7Mojos, Smartsoft Gaming, 3 Oaks, Other
There are some decent Suppliers out here, but the total amount of games you can play with the house is hardly over 1800. Compare that to most houses being able to offer their players 5000+ games, and you can easily see why we consider this one to be lackluster. There is just not enough titles. Still, these are the games by some big suppliers, so there might be something fun to play after all. Let's take a look to see whether that's the case:
Slots: The majority of the games with casinos are various Slots. This is true with BetBolt too. However, certain recognazable slots like Big Bass Bonanza, Book of Dead or Wolf's Gold are not available here. Instead, players will have access to games like Neko, Limbo Rider, RIP City and so on. We can appreciate the house also trying to organize its slots in a way to make them easier to browse. In order to achieve that, it has actually made the Slots filterable, by their Game Supplier and by their themes. However, while you can filter out the games by each supplier, there are just two themes, Aztec and animals. So we cannot say that BetBolt has done a very good job!
Table Games: There's nothing quite like kicking back and enjoying a nice casino table game. And this house has access to all the classics: Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack, Roulettes and Craps, playable in either live or virtual dealer formats. However, there's a bunch of Crash games like Mines and Plinko among the Table games. We are happy that the casino has these high-ante experiences, but would rather they were in the correct category, instead of cluttering up the Table Games section of the website.
Game Shows: Surprisingly enough, BetBolt has a very great selection of Game Shows. The casino has partnered with Evolution Gaming and features its entire roster of Game Shows. Among them are Funky Time, Crazy Time, Boom City, Crazy Coin Flip and more! We are very happy that these unique casino experiences have found their way here, too.
As for sports betting, the casino hardly has anything to offer. The Sports section of its website actually contains just two options – Cricket and Virtual Cricket. It's worth noting that you can place both prematch and live bets on the game. Now, Cricket is one of the most popular sports globally, but most sportsbook are not organized around just one type of game nowadays.
In fact, this is the only sportsbook we have ever seen to just have one sport. Most of them are consequently able to provide you with hundreds of different games instead, from countries from all over the world.
Conclusion
To sum everything up, BetBolt is one of the worst casinos you can play in. There is just nothing going for the house. From its lack of regulation, though its opaque withdrawal conditions, to the very little amount of games which are available, not one thing about this casino managed to meet even our baseline expectations. So, overall, playing elsewhere is the correct choice for everyone.
