Table of contents
Awintura is an exciting new Adventure themed casino, in which the player can explore a vast jungle and find thousands of Slots, table games and live gaming experiences along the way. At least that is the premise which the house wishes to sell you on.
Once you dig deeper into what it has to offer, though, it turns out that Awintura falls flat in a couple of major areas. For example, the casino's deposit policies are all great, and it does allow players to cash out lower amounts of money than the majority of its peers out there nowadays, but the withdrawal conditions are not so great. Accessing your funds is only possible in very small installments and takes a lot of time, which is inexcusable.
And in other areas, Awintura simply fails to stand out from its competition. There is a decent enough library of games, albeit supplied by a smaller amount of casino software developers than what we'd hope for. Overall, we need to examine the house up close in order to determine whether it is worth checking out or not. Let's do just that, and go over everything you need to know about the house:
Bonuses
There are a decent amount of promotions you can get with Awintura, including a number of fun Welcome bonuses, as well as many Recurring promotions. Here is an outline of all of them:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
First deposit bonus | $5 | 100% + 50 spins | 40x | Unspecified |
Second deposit bonus | $7 | 110% + 100 spins | 40x | Unspecified |
Third deposit bonus | $10 | 120% + 150 spins | 40x | Unspecified |
Weekly Bonus | $15 | 100% up to $300 | 40x | Unspecified |
Permanent deposit bonus | $15 | 30% | 30x | Unspecified |
Free Spins bonus | $5 | 50 spins | 40x | Unspecified |
Savings Cashback | - | 5% | 25x | Unspecified |
Cashback bonus | - | 10% | Unspecified | Unspecified |
Wheel of fortune bonus | - | Unspecified | 30x | Unspecified |
Loyalty Program | - | $250 | - | - |
The bonuses are overall pretty decent, and stand out with the rather low minimum deposit requirements players need to comply with to get them. Most casinos nowadays demand around $20 to get you started with their promotions, but the ones with Awintura which require a deposit need you to cash in $15 at most.
Let's start off at the start, with the three different Welcome Bonuses. They cover the first three deposits a player can make and award you with a sizeable amount of cash, up to $750 in total. One issue with the promotion is that there is just no mention of what the maximum amounts are for each bonus, and how that $750 figure is spread between the different promotions.
Let's take a look at the different conditions of each promotion which we do know of:
- The First Deposit bonus awards you with 100% of the money you cash in and two alternate bundles of Free Spins. If your deposit is between $5 and $19, you will get 20 Free Spins. If it is higher – you can get 50. The wagering requirement for this and the rest of the Welcome bonuses is pretty fair, too, as it is set to 40x. Wagering requriements are an incredibly common part of the promotions with any casino nowadays, and simply represent the amount of times you need to play through the promotions in order to cash them out. For similar deposit incentives, they are usually around 30x to 40x. There is no mention of a cash out limit, on this, or on any of the different deposit bonuses with the casino.
- After the previous promotion is played through, you can get access to the Second Deposit Bonus. It rewards you with 110% of the amount you've cashed in, as well as 30 Spins, or 100 Spins if your deposit is over $30.
- Finally, there is also the Third Deposit Bonus. It has the highest multiplier for the deposit you make, of 120%, and it also has two tiers of Free Spin awards, which are based on said deposit. The lower adds 50 Spins to accounts which are topped up with between $10 and $49, while the higher, over $50, will give you access to 150 Spins.
There are a couple of fun Recurring promotions which players can get once they are done with the three previous bonuses. We would like to shed some more light on those, too:
- First off, there is the Weekly Deposit Bonus, awarded once every seven days to players. It grants you 100% of anything you deposit, up to a maximum of $300. This is a very generous reload bonus with a fairly high availability. Furthermore, it has a decent enough wagering requirement of 40x.
- The Permanent Deposit Bonus seems to be introduced by the casino for players to use while they are waiting for the Weekly Deposit Bonus to become available again. It allows you to get 30% of any deposit you place as bonus funds, up to a maximum that Awintura has not listed on its website. The promotion allows players to cash out once they clear a simple 30x wagering requirement.
- There is a straightforward Free Spins Deposit, which works as follows: Cash in $5 or more, and you can claim the bonus of 50 Free Spins for a game of the casino's choice. At the time of writing, the game is Ice Mania, and the winnings from the Spins can be withdrawn as soon as you clear a 40x wagering requirement.
- A lot of importance is paid to the Savings Cashback Bonus, which the casino advertises like some sort of exclusive deposit incentive, which it has come up with. But in essence, that is just another cashback bonus! The house calculates the difference between how much you have wagered and how much you have won, i.e. your losses, and gives you back a certain percentage of them. This is how every cashback bonus works, not just this one. And it would be quite untrue to say that Awintura is the only place where you can get this kind of bonus. The percentage of losses is just 3%-5%, based on your account level. We will cover the account levelling system a bit further down, when we examine the VIP program. However, the maximum bonus of 5% is nothing to write home about. In addition to that, the casino requires you wager that money 25x, which is incredibly high for a cashback bonus. Usually, those can be withdrawn as soon as you clear a requirement of 5x at most.
- What makes the previous promotion even worse is that Awintura actually runs a regular Cashback Bonus, which gives the player up to 10% of their weekly losses back. These losses can be withdrawn too, but the house does not mention what their wagering requirement is, which is a bit annoying. Hopefully it is actually competitive, unlike the bonus above.
- Finally, the Wheel of Fortune bonus requires you to deposit $5 for three days in a row to get a $12 voucher for the Wheel of Fortune of Awintura. This Wheel costs $2 to spin and awards you with a couple of cash prizes, some Free Spins and a temporary boost in the Comp points you can earn. Any reward you get from the promotion needs to be wagered 30x in order to withdraw it, which you should keep in mind.
- There are also Lootboxes, containing Free Spins and Bonus cash, but you have to buy them to open them, with your deposited funds. This means the boxes are not really what we would consider a bonus.
Let's cover the Loyalty Program with the casino as well. It allows you to rack up Comp points while you deposit and play, which can either be exchanged for real money, or cashed in to progress your account to the next level. There are seven levels in total, and you get an exclusive cash bonus between $50 and $250 every time you rank up. Additionally, you can get a special bonus bundle of Free Spins. Ranking up your account also increases the percentage of money from the Permanent Deposit Bonus from 30% to 90%, which is a pretty significant upgrade. Doing so also allows you to exchange your Comp points for real cash at better rates. All in al, this makes for a fairly rewarding promotional prorgam!
License
When it comes to regulation, Awintura has the following to say:
The casino claims that it is licensed and runs with the approval of the Antillephone. The Antillephone is one of the most popular regulatory bodies nowadays, and there is a lot of reasons as to why, but before we go over that, let's see whether the house is actually licensed by it. Fortunately, it turned out to be, with the respective license available below:
This license is proof that Awintura is telling the truth, and that it is run by a license holding operator. The Antillephone is just one of the four regulators responsible for overseeing the majority of online casinos nowadays. They are so attractive to casino operators because of the less restrictive approach to regulation they have. This way, Awintura can offer you high bonuses, but you can also be sure you have access to the following protections, mandated by the regulatory bodies:
- First off, there are tons of sensitive data you might need to share with a casino, which can include different information about who you are, where you are playing from and so on. The house can also collect payment information, and all of that has made the regulatory bodies in Curacao implement a set of rules about how data should be handled. License holders need to store it with some of the toughest encryption protocols available to them, as to prevent hackers from obtaining said data and causing harm to players.
- Furthermore, we should mention that there is a lot of importance that is paid to responsible gambling overall. Players have access to a lot of information about what addiction can look like and where to seek help if they feel like they need it. There is also a series of measures which casinos need to implement, in order to ensure that you can take control of your spending with them. For instance, you can close down your account, limit your deposits, opt in to time out warnings, and so on, at any time.
- Finally, the games you can play with these licensed houses have undergone audits, which certify they are indeed fair. The audits are performed by independent parties, hired by the licensing authority. They go over the random number generators used within each game to determine its outcome and notify the license issuer if there are any irregularities. That way, you can be sure you are playing actual games of chance with the casino!
Overall, we are very happy that Awintura is actually regulated, and believe that to be one of its biggest advantages. Back to our review, though, here's a list of the languages its website is visible in, as well as one about where it cannot be accessed from:
Languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese
Restricted countries: Australia, Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Show All, Afghanistan, American Samoa, Austria, Belgium, Cuba, Curaçao, Czech Republic, Ethiopia, France, Guyana, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Korea, North, Laos, Malta, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Syria, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Virgin Islands, U.S., Yemen
Deposit and Withdrawal
Awintura allows players to cash in via a variety of localized bank transfers, e-wallets and crypto. This provides a variety of payment methods for you to pick from, which is excellent. Here is an outline of the policies around those said methods, the accepted FIAT currencies and crypto tokens:
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
MiFinity | $10 | $65000 | Instant | Free |
PIX | $10 | $65000 | Instant | Free |
AstroPay | $10 | $65000 | Instant | Free |
Jeton | $10 | $10500 | Instant | Free |
Bank | $10 | $65000 | Instant | Free |
Crypto | $10 | $65000 | Instant | Free |
Currencies: US Dollar (USD), Brazilian Real (BRL), Mexican Peso (MXN), Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), Binance Coin (BNB), Ethereum (ETH)
We should note that some of these bank transfer options might not be available to you if you don't have an account with the bank! As for the minimum deposit amounts with the casino, they are as low as $10, which is very competitive.
The maximum amount you can cash out is also incredibly compelling. Furthermore, there are no fees, but you will be responsible for covering third party charges, if any are applicable to the transaction. In general, these said charges can show up with crypto transfers and bank payments above all else, and most casinos expect you to pay for them, not just Awintura!
Let's take a look at the withdrawal policies as well:
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
PIX | $5 | $250 | up to 3 days | Free |
AstroPay | $5 | $250 | up to 3 days | Free |
MiFinity | $11 | $250 | up to 3 days | Free |
Skrill | $5 | $250 | up to 3 days | Free |
Bank | $11 | $250 | up to 3 days | Free |
Crypto | $5 | $250 | up to 3 days | Free |
We should mention that before you can cash out, the casino does expect you to have wagered your deposits a certain amount of times – 2x. That is a common AML policy, which is actually not out of place at all. Failing to meet this expectation means you will have to pay a 30% withdrawal fee, which is also not uncommon.
The minimum withdrawal method for some of these options is as low as $5, which is actually lower than the minimum which was required on deposit. Overall, the minimum amounts are excellent. What we are not happy with are the maximum withdrawal amounts.
In the Terms and Conditions, the casino does mention that you can file for a withdrawal of any size. However, the house will be able to pay that out in installments of $250, and each will take at least three days to be processed. That is not acceptable, and there is no reason why a casino would need to drip feed you your winnings. And if there are any third party charges for the payment method in question, you will have to pay them for every transaction, which is annoying and can quickly add up to take out a chunk of your winnings on senseless fees.
Additionally, the processing time is incredibly slow! Even if we are going by the amount of time it takes to cash out one of these installments, three days is just above the average nowadays.
At least there are no fees by Awintura, besides the third party charges we mentioned. No inactivity fee is envisioned in its Terms and Conditions either, even though such a charge would not be anything unusual nowadays.
Games and Game Suppliers
Here is a list of the Game suppliers we saw mentioned on the casino's website:
Game providers: 1spin4win, 7Mojos, Alg, Amigo Gaming, AvatarUX, Belatra, Bet2Tech, Betsoft, BGaming, Booming Games, EGT Interactiv, Endorphina, Evolution, Evoplay, GameArt, Habanero, Igrosoft, KA Gaming, Kalamba, Kiron, Mascot, NetGame, PGSoft, Playtech, PragmaticPlay, RubyPlay, Slotmill, Smartsoft Gaming, Spinomenal, Spribe, Tom Horn, Turbogames, Tvbet, Wazdan, Yggdrasil, Other
Overall, there are less than 50 of them, which is what we expect to see. And nevertheless, there's no shortage of great games to play. Let's take a look:
- Slots: Fortune Tiger, Fortune Fox, Big Bass Bonanza, Gates of Olympus, Book of Dead, Wolf's Gold and Elvis Frog are just some of the popular games featured in the Awintura catalog. You can also find the Bonus Buy slots featured in their own section, too. Sadly, though, there's no way to filter the slots by their themes, which seems like a misstep for the house.
- Table Games: Live dealer versions of some of the most popular Table games nowadays, like Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack, and Roulettes are avaiable with the casino, but not their virtual dealer counterparts, which we tend to see as well.
- Game Shows: within the Live casino section players can also find a couple of Game Shows, like Sweet Bonanza, Treasure Island, Crazy Time, Boom City, Crazy Coin Flip and more.
- Instant Games: The casino features a fun variety of high-ante, fast-paced crash games which you can find in their own tab of its website. These include Aviator, Plinko, Mines and more.
- Fishing Games: There are a number of those types of games too, available in their own section from the lobby of the casino. They are a fun spin-off on the physical fishing games you can find in any arcade nowadays.
Conclusion
Despite the fact it has a couple of fairly good services, like its Loyalty program and license, we cannot say this casino is actually your best choice. Furthermore, we cannot really recommend it either, when the house has such an uncompetitive policy on withdrawals. That is why we would stick to other casinos which can cash out your winnings at once, or, if not, in bigger chunks! If you are curious as to where you can find better options, do not hesitate to check out the list of casinos below the review!
